"Attention all students, the tournament will begin in two hours; please can all participants make there way to the arena. Spectators will be allowed to start filling the seats one hour before the start. Goodluck to all of our battle crazed students, and to everyone let's make this a day to remember"
Sin, Animositas, and crow all make there way to the arena.
Elsewhere, with his short-ish white hair, blue eyes, and smaller frame, the innocent-looking Discindo is on his way to the arena too.
Although he's not allowed to participate; he still wants to watch his big brother, as he walks through the school, he passes through the cafeteria, but why is it so quiet?
Not a person in sight; just then, he hears the doors for the cafeteria all lock one by one; this all feels too creepy; who's doing this, and why?
Discindo hears someone lunge towards him, and he dodges in the nick of time, and as he regains his balance he sees who the attacker is...Tacitas, but why?
"Tacitas...what are you doing, if this is some kind of joke its not a good one"
Tacitas stands there, head down with a hood covering most of his face, a long dark brown robe, with dark green rope tied around it, and he draws his dagger.
"Discindo there are things you are too young to understand, Sin is using you, I know it! I'm sorry that you have to die, but I'm sure that if you don't you'll end up being Sin's best piece on the board, so I'd like to kill the pawn before it can be promoted."
Discindo can't believe what he's hearing," You're insane, Delusional! You just want to kill me to get to Sin; I thought you were better than this; please stop!"
But Tactitas's mind is set, he dashes forward trying to strike Discindo, But Discindo instinctively holds his hands out, and creates a shield made of light [Holy Shield].
"You think that's enough; I'll break that shield piece by piece if I must."
Discindo doesn't know what to do, is he really going to die here, he curl's down to the floor, ready to cry. He just keeps mumbling," please stop, please stop, please stop..."
the shield begins to crack, Tacitas' attacks become even more relentless, almost like a blur, left ,right, left, right, he zooms from one side of the shield to the other,'CrAck! CrAck! CrAck!' and finally...'SHATTER!'
Tacitas dashes in for the kill, but something's wrong what's this dark energy, Sin!, no, it's... Discindo! Discindo lift's his head, his hair now as black as Sin's, eyes a bright purple, and strange dark purple runic markings all over his body, he catches Tacitas mid dash with a bone breaking punch right to the gut.
" I'll kill you, I'll kill you, I'LL KILL YOU!" Discindo screams in rage.
Tacitas has no clue what's happening, Discindo was always the weak one, all he had was that shield, so what or who is this?
Discindo in the blink of an eye dashes toward Tacitas again, this time the dark energy around his hands appear sharp, Tacitas blocks it with his dagger, but Discindo keeps striking him, a few strikes in and Tacitas is already starting to fall behind, the strikes start to land better and better.
Tacitas wonders if it's even worth blocking anymore, because he's probably going to die to Discindo, and if he doesn't then Sin will definitely kill him for this, it should have been so easy, kill Discindo, make sure there were no witnesses, and let the rest do it's self.
And just as the final blow was about to land, killing Tacitas, 'Boom!'
"STOP!"
Light arrived, he burst through the door his long straight blonde glistening hair waving in the wind from the strike, a stern look on his face, and a white and golden school outfit given to him for being the top student and a role model for others.
He uses his holy power to create chains of light to hold both of them still.
Just then Discindo reverts back to his normal self, "Light! you're here! Help, he's trying to kill me!"
Light always knew Discindo had an alternate version of himself caused by having two mana cores but he didn't know that it had become this powerful, he wonders if Sin has something to do with this.
Light calls and asks the school security to do deal with Tacitas, and he decides to have a chat with Discindo.
"Discindo I need you to tell me, has Sin been helping you train."
Discindo hesitantly replies,"Well obviously he does, he's my brother."
Light with a smile on his face says,"I thought you had grown stronger! soon you'll be beating me, but you should train that shield more; I think it could become your most powerful asset".
Light looks at the clock in the cafeteria and realizes that he's going to be late to the tournament, "Discindo I'm sorry to cut the talk short, but I need to run, if I'm going to make it to the tournament in time, to make it up to you I'll buy some ice-cream when it's done, I've got to go!"
while Light is running to the tournament, he wonders about what happened, and thinks to himself that Sin has definitely been trying to spur on Discindo's darker side, and that he needs to speak about this with Sin.
