Episode 1:
Ryu stepped into the high school gate on his first day, heart pounding like a drum. New city, new school, new start... or so he thought.
On the way, in a quiet alley near the school, he froze. A group of tough-looking girls were surrounding some scared guys, fists flying. One girl tall, black hair with red streaks, uniform skirt short and tie loose was the leader. She punched a guy so hard he flew back.
Then her sharp eyes locked on Ryu.
She saw him watching.
Shit.
Ryu bolted toward school like his life depended on it. He stopped at the supermarket for a cold drink to calm down hands shaking so bad he almost dropped the can.
In class, he found his seat... and right next to it?
The same girl.
She was sitting there, legs crossed, staring out the window like nothing happened.
Ryu's face went white. He tripped over his own bag trying to sit, almost face-planted.
She turned slowly. Her eyes met his.
He thought: "She's gonna kill me. Right here. In front of everyone."
A minute later, she leaned over, voice low and cool:
"Hey... what's your name?"
Ryu panicked. Brain screaming: "Murder question! She's confirming who to kill!"
He jumped up "I-I need the nurse!" and ran out the door.
The girl blinked, cheeks turning a tiny bit pink. She muttered to herself:
"...Idiot. I just wanted to talk."
She stood up and headed to the cafeteria instead, heart racing for the first time in years.
