Inside the crab shells, the golden roe, thick, rich, and creamy, bubbled and sizzled, releasing a glistening, savory oil that shimmered under the firelight. Simon couldn't help but swallow hard, his eyes fixed intently on the succulent, pearly-white layers of crab meat packed tightly together.

Hearing Ewan's advice, Asher Ryder peeled the meatiest sections and handed them to Ewan, before dividing a steaming half-crab to both Simon and Wyatt.
