In a village of maphotla, sofi's family lived a happy life . Sofia was a mother of three married to Vusimuzi. Sofi's first born was Lekganya , a dark skinned girl with a tomboy behavior.
The second born was atlegang . A really strict boy who is way to formal and way to handsome. His skin is light like mild coffee
and a gentleman's behavior. He is 17 years, 2 years younger from his sister lekganya
The last born was only 3 years old , named after her late grandma Dipulelo. Cute as a fluffy puppy
"Morning!" Sofi banged on Atlegang's door . Annoyed as always. Atlegang got off from bed , opened the door and sticked his sleepy face out. "It's 4:30 am. " "it's your first day as a matric . Want to be late at school? Come on , don't be like that."
Sigh . Surely this woman knows how to hit on the right spot. "Okay, got it mom." Bang!
The door blamed shut right on Sofi's face ," that was rude."
After minutes later, Atlegang was having breakfast in the TV room. The TV was so loud that it even woke Dipulelo up. She showed up rubbing her eyes and stood infront of Atlegang. After her hands went down from her face , she looked at Atlegang with a sleepy face ...then burst out a cry.
" Dipulelo go to her room , you know she doesn't wake up early." Dipulelo ran to the other room. "Mom! I'm leaving. Say morning to sis." ... just like that...good luck anyways
Winding down " Ahh , damn. I slept pass nine. Atleast I slept to the fullest, not having Dipulelo to wake me up . wait...DIPULELO!!!
what the hell are you doing in my room? When did you get in here." Dipulelo blinked her two round eyes, " sis, kganya." Is sister mad at me again, but I didn't wet her bed this time.
" Never mind, let's go have breakfast. " Dipulelo responded with a big happy smile.
She was picked up from bed and taken to the kitchen. " Good morning, Atlegang said that." "The good wasn't included. " "how do you know." "It's morning, no good or bad. There's nothing I don't know about him."
In an abandoned building , there were five figures, all wearing a black robe. It covered their entire body including their head , only their mouth were seen. Infront of them stood a figure of a woman in a white robe, the five figures were facing her back but with their heads down.
At the back of her robe, there was a symbol of a cross. Her hairstyle was braids almost touching her butt
"Today, before the moonrise, all must be done. Understand?" "Yes, my Lady."
Back at sofi's house
" Mom, it's pass four and he's not back." Sofi looked at Lekganya confused, "who are you talking about?" Lekganya frowned, "your son, you forgot? We already cured you, don't tell me it was a waste of money. "
"Oh, atli..." suddenly sofi's phone rang, " Sofi on the speaker, hello...o...oky." she hanged up. Lekganya asked in worry, "Mom , what's happening."
Sofi looked at Lekganya with teary eyes, "Mom want to tell you her story...oky?" "Mom what's wrong? What's happening " "will you listen just once Lekganya. " "I just want to know what that phone call was about." "You're brother's car accident." The argument was replaced by silence.
Sofi started talking again, "Lekganya this is the end of our story." Lekganya looked up trying to hide her sobbing. "You're brother's car accident was bound to happen, this night is destined to happen. In the hands of our God, we will die." Suddenly Lekganya found her voice back," wha...what do you mean we will die tonight, and Atlegang's car accident... he is your child, yet you show no sympathy, you feel no pain. And God, you don't believe in him. You don't want his name to be said in this house. Mom what's happening?"
"Well..." suddenly her phone rang again,"Sofi on the speaker, hello... yes...o...oky." stream of tears fell from her eyes after hanging up. Lekganya was a little bit shocked to notice this scene.
"I've lost your father." Lekganya bursted into tears.
