Chapter 19 - CHAPTER 19, KRRISH and the Silver Tail Fox

The night had fallen into a silence that did not belong to nature.

It wasn't peaceful.

It wasn't calm.

It was… heavy.

As if the world itself had paused—

waiting for something inevitable.

Above, the moon shone cold and distant, its pale light stretching across the broken land. It watched silently, unaware that beneath it… reality itself was about to be tested.

KRRISH stood still.

No movement.

No wasted energy.

His breathing was controlled, deep, precise—like a warrior who had already accepted the outcome of the battle, no matter what it would be.

His eyes… sharp and unwavering.

But within them—

something vast was awake.

And in front of him—

stood the being who ruled not just illusions…

but perception itself.

The Silver Tail Fox.

A slow smile formed on the fox's face.

It wasn't mocking.

It wasn't arrogant.

It was… curious.

"You…"

His voice did not travel through air.

It appeared directly inside KRRISH's mind, smooth and invasive—like it belonged there.

"…are interesting."

A brief pause.

"You broke my illusions."

His nine tails swayed slowly behind him, each movement bending the air itself.

"Very few reach that far."

The fox stepped forward.

One step.

The ground trembled.

Second step.

The air grew heavier.

Third step—

space itself seemed to distort.

It wasn't just pressure.

It was control.

KRRISH didn't move.

Didn't react.

Didn't even blink.

Far away—

two massive presences emerged from the darkness.

A radiant golden force.

And beside it—

a terrifying shadow of destruction.

The Lion King.

The Black Dragon.

The Lion King's gaze hardened as he looked at the fox.

"That fox…"

His voice was low, serious—carrying the weight of experience.

"He doesn't just play with the mind."

A pause.

"When he chooses to fight seriously…

he doesn't use illusions to deceive."

His eyes narrowed.

"He uses them to dominate reality itself."

The Black Dragon let out a deep breath.

His voice followed—heavy, almost reluctant.

"What I witnessed…"

He paused, as if recalling something that even he couldn't fully accept.

"…was beyond strength."

A brief silence.

Then—

"If he crosses that point…

this won't be a fight anymore."

His eyes darkened.

"It will be a collapse."

As if responding to their words—

the fox stopped.

Then—

he laughed.

Softly.

"Then let's stop holding back."

In an instant—

everything changed.

A violent surge of silver energy erupted from his body.

Blinding.

Overwhelming.

Unstable.

Layer after layer—

energy wrapped around him like molten metal.

Reshaping.

Evolving.

Ascending.

His nine tails expanded—

stretching far beyond their limits—

each one radiating immense divine energy.

And then—

behind him—

something appeared.

A colossal Silver Fox.

Ancient.

Divine.

Terrifying.

Its presence alone bent the battlefield.

It wasn't an illusion.

It was manifestation.

KRRISH took a step forward.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

Not excitement.

Not arrogance.

Just… readiness.

"Let's begin."

And then—

they vanished.

The collision happened before sound could exist.

The ground shattered.

Shockwaves tore through the land.

The air screamed.

Time itself… faltered.

The fox appeared in front of KRRISH—

but not as himself.

His mother stood there.

Her eyes filled with emotion.

Her presence… real.

And then—

she attacked.

Fast.

Precise.

Deadly.

KRRISH blocked it—

but for a split second—

his body hesitated.

That moment—

was enough.

The fox smirked.

The form changed.

Now—

his father.

Then—

his brother.

Then—

his sister.

Then—

everyone.

Faces he loved.

Voices he trusted.

Memories he protected.

Each one attacked him.

Without mercy.

Without hesitation.

But KRRISH fought back.

Again—

he pushed them away.

Again—

he stood firm.

Again—

he refused to break.

The battlefield turned chaotic.

Reality shifted constantly.

Forms changed.

Attacks overlapped.

Nothing was stable.

The fox's expression changed.

The curiosity faded.

Now—

there was focus.

"Good…"

His attacks intensified.

Faster.

Sharper.

More brutal.

And then—

the illusions changed.

Now—

those familiar faces were broken.

Bleeding.

Crying.

Screaming.

Dying.

Their voices echoed—

not outside—

but inside KRRISH's mind.

Pain.

Guilt.

Fear.

His body reacted.

His breathing grew heavier.

His movements slowed.

Blood covered him.

Wounds spread across his body.

But his eyes—

remained steady.

Inside—

he remembered something.

The words of the dark shadow.

He held onto them.

Like an anchor in chaos.

And moved again.

Another clash.

Another impact.

Another push.

The fox was thrown back.

KRRISH stood.

Again.

And again.

And again.

Now—

the fox was no longer smiling.

"Enough."

The air froze.

Silver energy gathered—

compressing—

condensing—

forming something destructive.

A massive strike—

launched directly at KRRISH.

It hit.

BOOM

The impact sent him flying.

His body slammed into the ground.

The earth cracked beneath him.

Silence followed.

Blood dripped from his mouth.

For a moment—

everything was still.

And then—

he laughed.

Soft.

Unstable.

Alive.

"Heh… this is fun."

The fox's eyes narrowed.

Suddenly—

dark shadows emerged from the ground.

They wrapped around KRRISH—

binding him completely.

The pressure increased.

The grip tightened.

The world slowed.

And then—

KRRISH moved.

Slowly—

he lifted his head.

His eyes—

were no longer calm.

They burned.

A terrifying aura began to rise from his body.

Unstable.

Wild.

Uncontrolled.

He looked directly at the fox.

And spoke—

slowly.

Coldly.

"Now you've gone a little beyond your limits."

The shadows trembled.

Cracks spread across them.

The air distorted.

The ground shook again.

Something inside him—

was breaking free.

Not just power.

Not just anger.

But something deeper.

Something dangerous.

Something…

that even the Silver Tail Fox had not predicted.

Far away—

the Lion King's expression changed.

For the first time—

he felt it.

"That presence…"

The Black Dragon's eyes widened slightly.

"…it's changing."

Back on the battlefield—

KRRISH slowly stood up.

The shadows shattered.

And the space around him…

began to warp.

The battle—

was no longer the same.
