Chapter 15 - When the Rift Meets the Disaster

The cosmos had barely settled from the last tremor of Chaos Tenno's evolution when the Rift around him rippled again — not with danger, but with intrusion. A presence tore through the dimensional fabric as if it were cheap paper.

Something then appeared on the screen right before his eyes.

The System reacted first.

[WARNING]

Unregistered Authority detected.

Dimensional Sovereign-class entity entering the Rift.

Tenno's eyes narrowed. "Another Monarch?"

[NEGATIVE]

Classification: Unknown. Power Signature: Catastrophic. Ego Level: Hazardous.

A voice boomed through the void.

"Oi. Whoever's messing with dimensional laws — cut it out. You're making my job annoying."

A man stepped through the tear, wearing a confident smirk that radiated pure arrogance. His presence didn't distort the Rift; it challenged it, as if daring reality to try and stop him.

Chaos Tenno recognized him instantly from the echoes of countless worlds.

Lee Geon.

The Disaster-Class Hero.

The man who fought gods, monsters, and entire pantheons — and insulted them while doing it.

Geon cracked his neck. "So you're the one causing all this cosmic racket. Chaos Tenno, right? The Rift Monarch or whatever."

Tenno didn't respond immediately. He was too busy analyzing the impossible.

Lee Geon wasn't a Monarch.

He wasn't a cosmic being.

He wasn't a system-born entity.

He was… himself.

A force of nature wrapped in human skin.

"Why are you here?" Tenno asked.

Geon shrugged. "Some idiot god tried to use your little evolution surge to slip into my world. I punched him back into the void. Then I followed the trail and found you."

He pointed at Tenno's chest.

"You're leaking power like a broken faucet. Fix it."

Tenno blinked. No one — not even Monarchs — spoke to him like that.

The Rift shuddered as Tenno's aura flared. "You dare—"

Geon raised a hand. "Relax. I'm not here to fight. If I wanted to, you'd already know."

The arrogance wasn't empty.

Tenno could feel the truth behind it.

The System chimed again.

[ALERT]

Entity Lee Geon possesses: "Absolute Calamity Physique."

Effect: Immune to cosmic suppression, divine authority, and dimensional laws.

Recommendation: Do not antagonize.

Geon walked closer, examining Tenno like a mechanic inspecting a broken engine.

"You're strong. Ridiculously strong. But you're unstable. Your evolution is forcing your true form to bleed through."

Tenno stiffened. "You can see it?"

"Kid, I've fought beings who tried to rewrite my existence. I've punched through illusions, divine disguises, and cosmic masks. Your 'true shape' is screaming loud enough to wake the dead."

He tapped Tenno's forehead.

"You're not done evolving. Not even close."

The Rift pulsed violently — a sign that Tenno's next transformation was approaching faster than expected.

Geon sighed. "Look. I'm not your mentor. I'm not your enemy. I'm just here to tell you one thing."

He leaned in, eyes sharp and deadly serious.

"When your true form emerges… make sure you're the one controlling it. Not the other way around."

Tenno felt something he hadn't felt in ages.

A warning.

A challenge.

A prophecy.

Before he could respond, Geon turned away.

"I've got monsters to kill and gods to bully. Try not to break the multiverse before I get back."

He stepped through a new dimensional tear — one he created with a casual flick of his hand — and vanished.

The Rift fell silent.

The System spoke last.

[NEW QUEST UNLOCKED]

Title: "The Monarch's True Shape — Phase II."

Objective: Stabilize your evolving form before it manifests uncontrollably.

Note: Failure may result in cosmic collapse.

Chaos Tenno exhaled slowly.

Lee Geon's arrival wasn't a coincidence.

It was a warning.

And the next evolution was coming.
