Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Draxus got the power to go inside Salmon before Zane, Xavier and Hena.
But Draxus never asked for that power.
Xavier told him with great power comes great responsibility and Draxus asked a valid question after that:
"Who the hell decided that?"
Xavier looked at Zane. That was his only move as he didn't know the answer himself.
Zane sighed. "It doesn't matter who decided that. Your lady ordered you. You should oblige. What kind of bodyguard are you if you don't even want to go inside something first to check whether it's safe or not so that your lady has no danger when she goes inside it."
Draxus twitched.
Zane played with words.
Draxus glanced at Hena and the girl raised her shoulders.
"Heh."
A laugh escaped Draxus' lips.
"Bloody loyalty."
He shook his head and walked towards Salmon.
Zane gave him way and Draxus now stood in front of Salmon's wide open mouth.
