A young boy was led up a set of wooden stairs and tied to a post. He could see the row of marksman waiting. The boy barley batted an eye as he knew the crimes he committed were to grave to be forgiven. The echoes of a dozen bullets rang. The boy tied to the post slumped forward lifelessly. From the abyss a new soul emerged, it's colour a blend of black and blue. As it roamed around a divine voice reached his ears. "Young one, come here" it was gentle yet spoke with authority, the soul with nowhere else to go made his way to the voice. "Congratulations little one"
As the boy looked up he saw a giant goddess towering over him. "My name is Ashley, and currently you are in my domain."
The soul felt a little confused and asked, "why am l here?"
"As of now, that is not important. All you need to know is l am going to reincarnate you in another world, however you may know it as 'A thousand cold nights' or (Atcn). Have you heard of it?"
The soul wandered a little before answering, " l am mostly familiar with the concepts, and l know all the main events and Easter eggs involved although l haven't really played it myself. Is there a reason you're asking."
"Yes that's the world l will be sending you to, plus you will be one of the main antagonist."
The soul's calm face was quickly turned into one of shock and confusion. "Hell no, you don't have my consent"
The goddess just smiled
"The details will be sent in the follow up letter, so just await my instructions. Now off you go"
And just like the the soul evaporated into particles with a flick of the goddess finger. He was floating through a luminous void until a notification appeared.
