"Hiss—! That hurts like hell!"
Kurose Akira withdrew from the soul space, Marey Rhine's razor-sharp fangs still sending tremors through his very soul.
Clearly, a dragon's head was a forbidden zone—at least where Marey Rhine was concerned.
By the time his exchange with her ended, night had already fallen.
The elven sisters had long since returned to the Elven Kingdom. Alice had reverted into her porcelain-doll form and was sleeping peacefully in her room, while Loserine continued to swing her sword tirelessly in the training hall.
Only Ivsha remained in the guild hall.
She sat at a table, fountain pen in hand, carefully transcribing scripture. After a while, however, she suddenly pressed her fingers to her temple, her expression tightening in discomfort.
"Honestly… it hurts so much~"
Ivsha bit her lower lip, her face filled with troubled distress.
Of course, all of this was entirely intentional—meant solely to draw Kurose Akira's attention.
Akira didn't expose her act. Instead, he walked over and let his gaze drift lightly across her handwritten manuscript.
Her handwriting was neat and elegant, every stroke pleasing to the eye.
"How much have you copied so far?" he asked with curiosity.
"Not even a fifth yet," Ivsha replied, a hint of grievance in her voice.
"Is there anything I can help with?" Akira asked. "How about I copy some of it for you?"
"That won't work. Sister Kelly recognizes my handwriting." Ivsha shook her head, then quickly added with a smile, "But if Mr. Akira truly wants to help… perhaps there's another way."
Her pale lavender eyes locked onto him, overflowing with seductive charm beneath the dim lamplight.
"Another way?" Akira asked, puzzled.
"Yes. Another way." Ivsha smiled as she gently loosened the bindings of her nun's habit. Her succubus traits immediately revealed themselves to Akira's eyes.
At the same time, the fabric of the habit parted along her will, and a golden, heart-shaped tail swayed lightly, brushing across the back of Akira's hand with a strangely intoxicating sensation.
Yet Akira's attention was drawn more to Ivsha's posture.
Seated with her back to him, she leaned forward, her graceful body bent over the desk. Her hands reached behind her, lifting—
"Mr. Akira, please~" Ivsha invited softly.
The overwhelming temptation instantly ignited brilliant holy light within Akira!
Perfect timing—to test the power of half-dragonification.
But step by step.
First—
"Eep~"
As Ivsha felt the holy light flicker through her soul, a satisfied smile spread across her face, pink hearts shimmering in her eyes.
The next moment—
Smack!
Akira's palm landed squarely against her snow-white skin.
"Mr. Akira?" Ivsha looked back at him in confusion. Was he jumping straight into phase two already?
"Hurry up and copy the scripture!"
"Oh~"
Ivsha smiled sweetly and picked up her pen, focusing intently on the transcription.
Bathed in the sacred atmosphere, she felt the cleansing wash of holy light. Her pale skin flushed faintly pink, sending indescribable shivers of pleasure and joy through her body.
Not to mention—her heart-shaped tail was firmly caught in Akira's hand, being toyed with at will. The soul-quaking sensation made her writing speed faster and faster…
Suddenly—
"Wait… what is this?!"
Ivsha sensed something off. The coverage of the holy light was expanding—rapidly.
She turned her head in shock, only to see red dragon scales emerging one by one across Akira's skin. His physique visibly grew larger, more powerful.
Th-this—
This is amazing!
"Does it feel uncomfortable? Then I—"
"No! Please keep going, Mr. Akira~ I can't live without your holy light anymore!"
(What follows is a scene of scripture-copying. The next one million words are omitted…)
...
Elsewhere.
Lucia had returned to the Holy Light Church.
Seated upon the Golden Throne, her brows knit slightly as her deep gaze turned inward, contemplating the matter of the Black Radiance Dragon's Heart Scale.
Once a black dragon who had forged a pact with the Pope yet ultimately betrayed the Light, the Black Radiance Dragon had always been a forbidden existence in the Church's annals.
That heart scale—imbued with divine light—had drawn the covetous gaze of countless dragons. The Holy Light Church desired it no less.
Yet lacking a dragon's innate resonance with such artifacts, the Church had never managed to locate it.
But now—
As the Pope herself, having learned of its existence, Lucia would not let it slip away so easily.
"I never expected that this little excursion to the guild would lead me to traces of the Black Radiance Dragon's Heart Scale," Lucia murmured softly. "What an unexpected gain."
Originally, she had joined Kurose Akira's guild simply because she was tired of the monotonous routine of life within the Holy Light Church.
The rise of the Adventurers' Guild on the Magic Continent brought new rules—and new opportunities. Out of curiosity, she created an avatar and joined, hoping to observe its mechanics and amuse herself.
What she never anticipated was that within the guild, she would not only grow stronger—but also obtain invaluable intelligence regarding the Black Radiance Dragon's Heart Scale.
It was far beyond her expectations.
A subtle smile curved at Lucia's lips. Her interest in Akira's guild only continued to grow.
"Winnesan," she called softly.
The white-robed saintess appeared instantly, bowing respectfully. "Your Holiness. What are your orders?"
"I have a task for you…"
...
"Mr. Akira, it's morning already."
Ivsha set down her pen as she spoke. After an entire night of effort, she had finished copying the entire scripture.
"Morning… already?" Akira looked toward the window. Dawn was breaking, pale light creeping in—yet he still felt unsatisfied.
No helping it. The half-dragonified state was simply too powerful, allowing him to maintain peak performance all the way until sunrise.
"Mr. Akira really worked hard~" Ivsha gently hugged him and planted a kiss on his cheek. "But… can we continue next time? Ivsha can't eat anymore~"
As she spoke, she lightly stroked her slightly swollen lower abdomen. It was the first time she had ever experienced such abundant life mana.
She felt her digestion simply couldn't keep up with Akira's output.
"Mm… you did great."
Akira pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, then noticed she had already fallen asleep in his arms.
Looking at the exhausted little succubus, a warm smile rose to his lips. He carefully carried her back to her room and tucked her in so she could rest properly.
After settling Ivsha, Akira logged out of the game.
He removed the VR headset and glanced at the alarm clock.
9:30 a.m.
Crap!
He was late for school!
Akira hurried through a quick wash and bolted out the door.
...
In the blink of an eye, school was over.
Akira slung his backpack over his shoulder and headed home.
Once there, he checked WeChat. Liu Xue had messaged him, saying he could arrive later tomorrow—any time before nine was fine.
That left him puzzled.
Wasn't it usually five or six in the morning? Why the sudden change to nine?
He sent her a message to ask, but after waiting a long time without a reply, he entered the game instead.
The moment he arrived at the guild, a system message popped up on the screen.
Red: "Your weapon forging is complete—but there seems to be a small problem…"
