Ethan stared at Damian for a long second, the words he'd heard still sounding unreal to him. He didn't believe, he couldn't even if he wanted to. He knew Damian was lying, he was certain of it. He'd felt his emotions when they shared a kiss at the library, and he knew that emotions didn't disappear in just a day. So either Damian was lying, or he had simply misunderstood everything that went down at the library. He chose to believe the former.
"You're lying," he said softly. Not angry. Just… certain. "I felt it when we kissed. I saw it in your eyes that day in the library. You wanted it too. If you're scared, just say that. Don't lie to me."
