Marcus starts banging on the closet with his legs, but then they get tied as well because of Rex's telekinesis.
"Shh," Rex told the closet. "You should feel honored to get a chance to live by staying there."
"I'll take care of you tonight."
He then looked at Lily, who was still holding on to him. "Are you all right, baby?"
She nodded her head against his shoulder. "I should feel bad... and maybe I should feel guilty, but I don't..."
"Is that bad?"
"Nope," Rex said, running his fingers through her hair. "That's called moving on."
"You chose yourself over someone who never chose you and doesn't even recognize who you really are." Rex said while caressing her hair.
She pulled back to look up at him, and her eyes were now fierce. "I love you, Rex... You are the only one who could make me feel special and loved."
