Instead of feeling fear, Huang Shi actually started to grin, feeling a weird sense of anticipation for the upcoming fight.
Shit... I think I'm becoming some sort of damn battle junkie...
Huang Shi gave a wry smile as the two female lions rushed straight at him, their claws glittering with ice-cold spiritual energy. In fact, it was so potent that the grass in the forest started to freeze the moment they started to use their spiritual energy.
However, that wasn't all. The male White King Lion suddenly gave a powerful roar as the horn on the top of its forehead started to glow with a scintillating ice-blue light. After a few seconds, the entire surroundings suddenly started to freeze over.
The trees, the grass, and all of the shrubbery started to turn blue, as if they were being slowly frozen into ice. Not only that, the area about 20 meters surrounding them suddenly started to turn extremely cold as a blizzard suddenly erupted out of nowhere, causing parts of his black hair to turn white.
Interesting... unfortunately for you, I'm the worst kind of enemy you could ever face.
All of a sudden, Huang Shi's golden eyes seemed to be burning as a powerful golden light erupted out from him. As his entire body started to burn with golden flames, the frost on the ground started to melt at a very fast pace, but it wasn't enough—clearly, this White King Lion was quite powerful.
However, Huang Shi was not the same person as just a few days ago. All of a sudden, he raised both of his arms before speaking in a quiet murmur.
[Primordial Sunfyre Halo]
WHOOSH!
A massive golden halo of flames formed right behind Huang Shi, making him look like some sort of god of fire. Small, tiny wisps of flames then formed all around him before starting to bombard all three of the White King Lions.
ROAR!
The first female lion was the first to bear the brunt of the attack. One of the flame wisps hit her right in the face, causing a mini-explosion that singed a bit of her fur as blood started to pour out.
However, this was not the most important thing; the flames had started to burn both her spiritual energy and her vitality, weakening her combat abilities.
The second lion was a bit smarter. She suddenly stopped running in a straight line and started to move in a zigzag pattern, jumping around and moving to make sure that the flame wisps didn't hit her. Unfortunately for her, Huang Shi had anticipated this.
All of a sudden, five flame wisps stopped in place before rushing towards her from all directions, surrounding her.
Without any place to escape, the lion could only use her spiritual energy as a shield to try and endure the blow. She quickly hunkered down and surrounded herself with a shield made of ice.
BOOM!
Thankfully, her quick reactions had saved her from the same fate as her companion. She roared in triumph; however, right when her shield went down and she was just about to run toward the hairless monkey in front of her, a massive ball of golden flames was already right in front of her face, as if anticipating her next move.
"Got you, little kitty."
Huang Shi grinned as a massive explosion erupted from the point of contact between the female white lion and his golden fireball.
This time, the lion was blasted back so violently that she actually flew past the male White King Lion and smashed into one of the frozen trees behind him, her entire body engulfed in burning golden flames.
Clearly, his little ambush had caused one of the White King Lions to become incapacitated.
ROAR!!
The male White King Lion instantly roared in outrage as its single horn started to glow with a powerful ice-blue light once more.
This time, the lion was clearly not playing any games; three other male white lions made of frozen ice suddenly appeared all around him, each ice clone possessing a cultivation base of the 5th level of the Nascent Profound Realm.
WHOOSH!
The three male ice lions and the one remaining female lion suddenly rushed straight towards him, their eyes glowing with killing intent.
Huang Shi, however, was not deterred at all. In fact, he started to grin with a malicious glint in his eye as, all of a sudden, the glowing flame halo behind him started to shine with an even fiercer golden light. Huang Shi raised both hands and pushed them forward.

All of a sudden, tens of glowing Sunfyre arrows appeared all around his body, shining with a fierce light before rushing straight towards his enemies.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Most of the arrows were not very powerful, which was intentional; they were meant to be a distraction. Huang Shi's body suddenly disappeared like a howling crimson lightning bolt as he instantly appeared in front of the remaining female lion, delivering a straightforward punch filled with both golden flames and crackling crimson lightning.

The punch connected squarely with the lion's chest. The combination of Golden Flames and Crimson Lightning was devastating. The fire burned through her spiritual energy reserves while the lightning traveled deep into her body, causing the wounds that were already bleeding to struggle to heal as crimson sparks flashed through them.
CRACK!
The sound of snapping ribs echoed through the frozen clearing. The female lion didn't even have time to scream before she was sent flying, crashing into the snow like a broken doll.
Her entire body was singed from the flames, and her wounds were left bleeding as lightning rampaged through her body. She was down, leaving only the male White King Lion and his ice clones.
Seeing his other companion fall to the human, the male White King Lion let out a roar of grief and rage. He then ordered his three ice clones to attack him all at once. They lunged from the left, right, and above, their icy claws ready to shred Huang Shi to pieces.
This is my first time fighting against a spiritual beast at the sixth level of the nascent profound realm, hopefully you don't disappoint
