Chapter 84 - Chapter 54: The Poor Mage

"Huh? Adventuring? Ha… are you crazy?"

Tangie, whose arms were being held by Leo as he rocked her back and forth like a playground ride, struggled to lift her head and stared at Leo behind her in disbelief.

"At most, a single commission only earns seven or eight gold coins. And that's before you subtract all kinds of miscellaneous expenses. You're bringing that mage named Rosh with you—just the two of you—so you'll only be able to take the simplest jobs. You'll have to split the rewards with her and also cover that girl's food and lodging… mm—hey—you—ah—are you serious? When you calculate it like that… wait a second… going adventuring like this means you're actually losing money!"

The female street fighter's voice came out broken and breathless, but Leo didn't care in the slightest.

"I mainly want more combat experience. In this world, strength is king. That said, do you want to help me out?"

Leo tried hard to push deeper. He hadn't tried this position before, but once he did, he realized that if the opponent's glute muscles were full enough, getting in was difficult—but incredibly satisfying.

That elasticity and impact were things ordinary girls simply couldn't compare to.

"Mmph… then you might as well give the money to me! Let me be your sparring partner! Ah— you bastard!"

Tangie's arms were suddenly released, causing her to fall onto the bed. Leo had already grabbed both soft, full mounds and was thrusting vigorously.

"Aren't I sparring with you right now?" Leo said with a wicked grin.

His voice sounded infuriating in Tangie's ears, but she had no way to resist. All Leo could do now was drive forward relentlessly, and all she could do was grit her teeth and endure.

Finally, when one surging torrent collided with another and burst forth like a hot spring, Tangie's body went limp and collapsed onto the bed.

"Huff… huff… are you even human?!"

Tangie glared at Leo while gasping for breath, her eyes filled with lingering fear.

She had no idea that it was her own constitution that made Leo so terrifyingly capable. She simply believed that Leo himself was overwhelmingly strong.

And because of that, she was honestly a little scared.

Leo, however, smiled as he grabbed the generous weight on her chest, red light flickering faintly in his eyes.

"So, if you don't want to face dangers like this again, come adventuring with me."

Seeing another 400 energy added to his total, Leo became even more certain that this number was absolutely abnormal. He wanted Tangie, an experienced street fighter, to join him on his adventures.

He didn't even aim for minotaur champions yet. For now, being able to face a single minotaur soldier head-on would be enough.

"Impossible. Even if you kill me here, I won't go. I still have my territory to manage. If I leave, those kids will have no one watching over them."

Tangie grabbed Leo's hand to stop him from causing more trouble as she explained her reason.

"Oh?" Leo paused.

Only then did he remember that Tangie's subordinates were indeed mostly young kids.

After thinking for a moment, he pulled out a separate coin pouch he had prepared and opened it in front of her.

"Then be my exclusive lover. This is your living expense for the month."

Leo genuinely loved Tangie's body—especially her unique poison. It was so perfect it was almost unreal.

Tangie didn't react at first. But when she clearly saw the color of the coins inside the pouch, she froze.

Her face flushed red, her aura flaring instantly as she grabbed the pouch and yelled at Leo.

"This is enough to keep a noble lady! You bastard! What the hell are you thinking?!"

Leo looked at the furious Tangie, tapped his finger against his lips, thought for a moment, then reached a conclusion.

"Your body feels really good to use."

"You bastard!"

Tangie roared and pounced on Leo, slamming him to the ground.

Energy +800.

——Another day of abnormal energy gain——

"So, big brother, you spent over a hundred gold coins buying a shop for that female street fighter and keeping her, and the end result is that you only brought back some useless poison and a pile of survival supplies?"

Rosh, carrying an enormous pack, stared at Leo with a completely speechless expression.

Leo nodded. Tangie had far too many responsibilities—running a bar, negotiating with other factions—so she couldn't come along on this adventure.

However, she had given Leo her maps, her poisons and antidotes, and even transferred the shop deed into his name, though she would continue managing it.

She had also recommended a fighter to act as their guide.

"Big brother, you really have way too much money," Rosh said helplessly.

Adventurers in Arad had an extremely hard time earning money. Someone like Leo, who scattered gold coins everywhere, was honestly already becoming famous across the western coast.

Thinking about how Leo had spent 120 gold coins to keep a female street fighter—and had only slept with her a few times—Rosh couldn't help wanting to complain. But even more, she wanted to complain about herself.

She had been in Arad for quite a while and had only managed to save seven or eight gold coins. Meanwhile, Leo casually tossed out ten gold coins at a time.

It completely shattered her sense of reality.

So, without thinking, she blurted out,

"Watching this makes me want to be kept by you too, big brother."

"Hm?"

Leo instantly caught the key words and looked at the girl in front of him—especially at her chest, which had less curve than a cutting board. A mocking smile appeared on his face before he sighed and shook his head.

"You're too small. Forget it."

Rosh had only been joking, but hearing Leo emphasize "small," and seeing where his gaze landed, her cute face darkened instantly.

"I'm an adult, you know! Big brother!"

"Huh?"

"In the demon world, I'm already an adult! Got it?!"

Rosh angrily tried to grab Leo by the collar, but because of her height, she could only clutch his waistband instead. Seeing this ridiculous scene, Leo couldn't help laughing.

He crouched down to her level and rubbed her head.

"Then five gold coins per time. Would you do it?"

Rosh: "..."

You're serious?!

Rosh's mouth fell open. Although she was technically an adult, her personality was still bright and childlike. Faced with Leo's blunt, straightforward pricing, she was completely stunned.

"Y-you're serious?"

Leo calmly pulled out a small pouch containing ten gold coins and shook it in front of her eyes.

"Don't believe me? Try it and see."
