Chapter 8 - CHAPTER SEVEN: FEAR

Rocky stormed through the park, rage boiling over.

"Arun," he growled, his eyes glowing like a green diamond burning in the

dark. "I'm coming for you."

Arun sat casually on a bench, legs stretched out, staring at the sky as if

nothing in the world mattered. The snake tattoo on his neck pulsed blue.

Rocky was already behind him.but the eyes turned normal.

The wooden sword sliced through the air and shattered the bench in half,

but Arun had leapt away a heartbeat before it landed.

"You came back with that bleeding nose again?" Arun said calmly.

Rocky ignored him. He charged forward, slashing with the sword and

following it with a sharp kick.

Arun raised his guard.

The tattoo flared red.

Mid-attack, the direction of Rocky's kick twisted unnaturally, the same way

Arun's did before. Arun staggered, confused.

But Arun stood untouched.

The only mark on him was the old wound on his chest. The slash Rocky had

given him last time.

Arun looked down at it, then back at Rocky.

"Your potential is being wasted," he said quietly. "You can't even copy

properly."

He turned and walked away.

Rocky remained frozen, fists clenched, blood dripping from his nose.

"we need to tell this to Arun" hurried Ram.

Arun walking in corridor the " you are here we want to tell about the 2nd

selection" said rahul

"Tell fast"Arun asked excitedly "ok the 2nd selection is about"said rahul

"about" asked arun "Fear!"continued Ram.

The dormitory twisted and dissolved into a horrifying jungle. Walls melted

into trees, lights stretched into vines, and the ground breathed beneath their

feet.

"Ahh… what is happening?" Rahul shouted, panic cracking his voice.

They looked around and realized the entire made-up city had transformed

the same way. Screams echoed from far away. Without thinking, they split

Ram ran toward the deeper forest, pulled by an unnatural silence.

Rahul followed a broken stone path that split again and again.

Arun moved toward the sound of fighting, gripping his weapon tightly.

Ram stepped into a clearing.

Silence.

Too quiet.

In front of him lay Rahul and Arun, their bodies torn apart by a towering

shadow of a monster. Blood soaked the ground.

Ram tried to move, but his legs refused to obey.

His chest tightened as if something invisible was crushing his heart.

He screamed, but no sound came out, only tears burning his eyes.

The scene shattered.

Rahul stood alone in a dim corridor. Two doors faced him.

One glowed faintly, and behind it he heard Tommy whining in pain.

The other pulsed darkly, and behind it was Ram's desperate voice calling

his name.

Rahul's hands trembled.

"No… no, this isn't fair," he whispered.

He reached out, but the doors began to close, forcing him to choose.

The world cracked again.

Arun stood in the jungle, staring at Ram's and Rahul's lifeless bodies at his

feet. His breath shook. His fists clenched until blood ran from his palms.

Then footsteps.

Rahul appeared from the shadows, covered in blood, eyes hollow.

"You killed us," Rahul said coldly. "You're the monster."

Arun stepped back, his mind breaking apart.

For the first time, he doubted his strength.

A laugh echoed through the jungle.

Slow. Calm.

Rocky stepped out from behind a tree, eyes glowing green in the darkness.

And the nightmare smiled back.C
