What followed next became a legendary tale whispered across every realm…
The battle that erupted shook the dying world to its foundations, power clashing against power in ways that rewrote the landscape completely.
Envy, who had never been challenged by anyone beneath Godhood.
Who had replicated and surpassed every skill employed against him.
Who had stood supreme across eras… finally met his match.
Not in a God, not in a Divine Ruler, not even in an Ancient Evil God…
But in a single Demigod who refused to let the world behind him burn.
The fight stretched for days that felt like eternity, both beings pushing past every limit, every boundary, every concept of what should be possible.
And when the dust finally settled, when the last echoes of clashing power faded into silence...
Envy stood wounded beyond anything he'd experienced in his impossibly long existence.
The World Core remained intact behind where the crimson-haired figure knelt, exhausted but unbroken.
