Johnn, still catching his breath while trying to look nonchalant, adjusted his tonfas, ready to spring back into the fray.
"Damn, they really are a literal engine! Those metal bastards don't get tired, they don't lose steam, and they don't feel pain. Meanwhile, we're out here sweating through our armor just to keep up with them."
He spat to the side, his chest heaving as he stared down the fresh wave of violet-humming threats, though a stubborn grin managed to pull at the corner of his mouth.
"Alright, round two. Let's see how much fuel these freaks have left!"
