Synopsis
She had the "perfect" ending. She had forgiveness, love, and a rebuilt family. She tries to build a new life with Simón. At the same time, she accompanies Sharon through a period marked by guilt and wounds from the past that never healed. Amid memories, silences, and questions that no one wanted to answer, Ámbar begins to wonder who she was before she became the villain and found redemption. Where is her biological mother? What if the real conflict was never Luna, but everything that was never said about her past?

Chapter 1 - |The remnants of brilliance|

Ámbar Smith had closed all the doors that had remained open for years: she was happy with Simón, firmly rooted in a love built without doubts or recriminations; at peace with her friend Jazmín, reconciled with Emilia; without conflicts with Luna or the Valente; and with an honest and stable bond with her grandfather Alfredo. Even Sharon (from another place, from another life) was still part of that new balance.

She no longer lived in the mansion where she grew up. She was now independent and had committed to a new beginning with Simón.

However, something didn't quite fit.

When the noise dies down and the story seems complete, the questions that no one asked out loud remain. The ones that don't hurt, until they start to weigh on you.

Sharon had lost her sight after the fire at the Benson mansion. Since then, she had been living in a darkness that was not only physical. Ámbar visited her often, learning to rebuild a different bond, one that was more fragile and sincere. After all, Sharon was her mother.

She never doubted who she had been. But for the first time, she began to doubt who she was. She knew she had been adopted and that Sylvana, her biological mother, couldn't take care of her because she was alone, with no options.

Why was her last name Smith? What did Sharon really know about her adoption?

There were no villains this time. Just an incomplete past, waiting to be faced head-on.

Amid the remnants of the brilliance that once defined her life, Ámbar understood something essential: it's not about changing the ending, but about understanding the origin.

Days later, Ámbar was in mourning. The silence of the place was no longer peaceful. Outside, someone was talking about schedules, flowers, and a place no one wants to go.

Because sometimes, life doesn't warn you; it just takes away. And that would be the first goodbye.
