"Cruise?" Nora frowned, confusion clouding her eyes.
"But I was trying on a bridal dress…" She paused.
"And…" Her face suddenly went pale again.
No-Gul stepped closer immediately. "What is it? What happened then?"
Nora swallowed hard, twitching her fingers trying to piece the fragments together. "There were… guards. I was running from them. I got into a car with a girl… and then— then"
Her breathing quickened , she continuously twitching her fingers. "Truck Infront, The car fell into the water…" "Water — I was drowning in water. "
Her voice trembled. "What happened to me? I can't remember anything clearly… nothing makes sense."
Distressed, she grabbed her head tightly, as if forcing her mind to cooperate.
No-Gul gently took her hands in his.
"Noraya… calm down," he said quietly.
"Noraya… Nae-sarang…"
Nora stilled.
She slowly lifted her eyes to look at him.
Without another word, No-Gul cupped the back of her head and pulled her against his chest. Her forehead rested over his ribs.
"Nae-sarang… everything is fine," he murmured softly.
"Look at me. You're safe. Everything okay. It was just a small accident. Don't panic… "
"You don't have to remember right now. Take your time."
For a moment she didn't respond.
Then, hesitantly, her fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt, clutching it tightly as if grounding herself.
"Yeobo…" she whispered.
"Hm?" he answered gently.
She tilted her face up, still close to him.
"I'm hungry."
For a second, he just looked at her—then a faint smile curved his lips.
"Hm… alright," he said warmly. "Let's eat."
Egg rolls. Warm soup. And Gyeran-jjim, still steaming.
Her face lit up instantly, she looked at him—then back at the dishes—then smiled even wider.
No-Gul watched her quietly as she began to eat, still holding onto his hand. Nora looked at him quietly for a moment before asking, "Um… did you always cook breakfast?"
No-Gul gave a small, controlled hum. "Yes. You liked everything I made—breakfast, lunch, dinner. So I cooked all of it."
She lowered her gaze, her fingers tightening slightly around the edge of the table. (Nora, this must be a dream. Such a handsome husband—and on top of that, such a good cook? Wow… you were really lucky.)
He studied her expression.
"Hmm? What's going on in that head of yours?"
"I don't remember anything…" she admitted softly. "Will you tell me? When did we get married? How much did we love each other? What were we like…?"
No-Gul, who had just taken a bite, suddenly choked. He began coughing lightly, reaching for the glass of water.
His usually composed expression flickered for a split second. He drank quickly, trying to regain control.
In the middle of the awkward moment, three of his fingers unintentionally lifted.
Nora's eyes widened. "Three years?" she guessed.
No-Gul immediately shook his head. She tilted her head slightly. "Three months?"
He instinctively shook his head again— Then paused. A second later, he slowly nodded up and down. Yes.
No-Gul slowly snapped his fingers.
Instantly, a tissue box lifted into the air and floated toward him. He caught it effortlessly and wiped his mouth with calm precision.
Nora stared at him in open shock.
"Powers…?" she whispered.
"You…"
No-Gul's eyes sharpened slightly. (Perhaps you still remember what these powers are and what they can do.)
"Do you remember that?"
Nora blinked at him, studying his face carefully.
"You're… a demon."
He raised a brow.
"A demon? Does your husband look like some terrifying monster to you?"
She tilted her head thoughtfully.
"Then… are you a goblin?"
He scoffed.
"Absolutely not. Am I look like some green, bitter-gourd-shaped creature?"
Nora's eyes suddenly widened in realization.
"I got it… Ghumio !"
"You're a white nine-tailed fox."
He stood up.
Another soft snap.
And suddenly—
Behind him, nine long black tails unfolded into the air, moving slowly waving. His eyes glowed a deep, mesmerizing purple.
He looked down at her confidently.
"Astrongest Black Nine-Tailed Fox."
Nora gasped—
Then screamed.
"AAAAAHHH!"
For one second, No-Gul thought she was afraid.
But in the next second—
She lunged forward and grabbed one of his tails.
"They're so soft! And so big! Wow!"
Before he could react, she leaned against them, practically sinking into the fluffy black tails like they were cushions.
"What are you doing?" he asked, slightly stunned.
Nora grinned innocently.
"I didn't know my Yeobo had such a soft mattress."
She moved closer on her knees, completely fascinated.
No-Gul stepped toward her slowly.
He bent down slightly and gently brushed his fingers along her neck.
Nora froze instantly.(From this close… it feels almost intoxicating.)
She gulped.
His fingers traced the soft pink feather mark glowing faintly on her skin.
"And this pink feather…in your neck" he murmured softly,
"It's the token of our love."
Nora's hand slowly rose to her neck.
"Love… token?"
No-Gul searching an answer in her eyes. (Seeing this… you must remember something. What is this pink feather? What is the connection of powers between us?)
The air between them felt charged.
As if something unspoken was about to surface—
Suddenly—
The doorbell rang.....
The sharp sound broke the moment.
No-Gul instinctively moved.
His tails curled protectively beneath Nora's legs to steady her—
But in the sudden shift, he slipped.
They both fell onto the floor.
No-Gul landed partially over her, bracing himself with one hand beside her head.
They were lost in each other eyes.
And then—
The door slowly opened.
