Chapter 11 - Whirlpool Empire cap 11

"As long as the Uzumaki patriarch is present, the Uzumaki clan will not fall."

Those were the words of Mito Uzumaki that left Hiruzen Sarutobi deep in thought.

No matter how much he or Tsunade insisted that Mito give them an explanation, Senju Hashirama's wife refused to answer and only said that they had to wait for the other villages to attack the Uzumaki clan so that they would understand her words.

When he realized that Mrs. Mito wouldn't say anything more to him, Hiruzen withdrew and headed towards the Hokage Tower, thinking all the way there.

"Call the elders," Hiruzen ordered one of his anbu, who went to carry out the order.

Minutes later, Koharu and Homura arrived.

Danzo was busy managing his root organization to cause trouble in other countries, so for now he wasn't in the village.

When his two old friends arrived, Hiruzen told them what Mito had said, and they were just as surprised as he was.

According to Mito, the Uzumaki patriarch had to have the strength of a Shinobi God to be able to defend the Uzumaki clan from 20,000 or 200,000 ninjas.

"Do you think that's true?" Homura asked.

The existence of a Shinobi God after Hashirama Senju would change the landscape on the continent of the elemental nations.

"I don't think so," Koharu said and continued.

"The Uzumaki patriarch is almost 200 years old"

"It's impossible for him to have that strength and no one knows it."

Hiruzen and Homura thought about it and agreed.

They still remembered the aftermath of the battle between Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara, and if the Uzumaki patriarch possessed such strength, his battle prowess would have been known for a long time.

"Furthermore, if the Uzumaki patriarch possessed the strength of a Shinobi God, the Uzumaki clan would not be hiding on their island," Homura said.

When Homura said that, Hiruzen suddenly thought about the size of Uzumaki Island and the clan's small population compared to the island.

He mentioned it to his two friends and they suddenly thought about the problem.

"According to the records, it is known that the Uzumaki have difficulty increasing their population," Hiruzen said, recalling reading in the village records about the low fertility of the Uzumaki when he took the Hokage hat.

"Because they have a low population, they don't use all the land on their island."

"But we forgot that the Uzumaki are specialists in sealing jutsu, who somehow create whirlpools around the island."

"We always believed that the whirlpools were their only defense"

"But based on what Mrs. Mito said, it's possible the entire island is covered in seals and its control is in the hands of the Uzumaki patriarch."

"With so many seals on the island, it's possible you'll face thousands or tens of thousands of Shinobi staying within protective barriers," Hiruzen finished, smiling.

Upon hearing Hiruzen's words, the two nodded in agreement.

"Do you think all the shinobi from the other villages will fall under the Uzumaki seals?" Koharu asked.

When Koharu asked the question, the other two were left thinking and hoping that would happen.

To quickly eliminate the Uzumaki clan, each village's army was divided in two.

The first half of each army headed towards their countries' borders with the Land of Fire, and the second half headed towards Uzumaki Island.

According to what their spies reported, the second half of each army would depart for the Land of Fire after wiping out the Uzumaki clan, so the Leaf Village was on high alert and preparing for the next war.

Meanwhile, the root cause was to create problems and pit the other villages against each other in order to reduce the pressure on the Land of Fire.

If the Uzumaki manage to defeat their attackers, the pressure on the village will be greatly reduced.

"Unfortunately, it's not likely," Hiruzen said, shaking his head.

"Yes, not without idiots. The moment they realize they can't break through the Uzumaki defenses, they'll retreat," Homura said.

Sigh*

"I hope Danzo does a good job of pitting the other villages against each other," Koharu said, to which the other two agreed.

The three of them chatted a little longer before leaving.

Hiruzen, meanwhile, set about checking various things in the village in preparation for the upcoming war.

Meanwhile, the entire continent was watching the armies of the 4 villages.

The armies on the borders with the land of fire waited and took no action to start a battle.

The Leaf shinobi, for their part, also did nothing because they did not want to start conflicts yet.

For now, it doesn't look like the war will start anytime soon.

The shinobi who approached Uzumaki Island, on the other hand, were the ones who had the most attention in the world.

When the Uzumaki clan is annihilated, it is more likely that World War II will begin.

Nobody thought the Uzumaki clan could win or get out of this problem, so everyone was already expecting the start of World War II.

Under the attention of the entire world, the armies of the 4 great shinobi villages arrived on the shores of the Uzumaki village at the same time.

Although the distances they had to travel were not the same, they agreed to arrive at the same point at the same time to join forces to break the barrier surrounding Uzumaki Island from a single point.

No matter how strong a barrier was, they didn't believe it could withstand the combined attack of 20,000 shinobi for very long.

After breaking through the barrier, they will quickly wipe out the Uzumaki clan before heading towards the Land of Fire to fight the Hidden Leaf Village.

Or at least that's what they all agreed when they formed this pseudo-alliance.

The truth was that the Lightning Village and the Water Village had no plans to participate in the next war.

Their plans were to retreat to their villages to study the techniques of the Uzumaki clan, perfect the method of creating Jinchuriki, and absorb the Uzumaki bloodline in the village with the captured Uzumaki.

In this way, they will have more strength later on and a greater advantage in a subsequent war.

While the leaf, the stone, and the land of the wind consume their strength, their own countries will maintain their strength in optimal condition.

One kilometer off the coast of Uzumaki Island, dozens of ships stopped and thousands of shinobi and kunoichi disembarked.

The flags on the ships and the ninjas' uniforms declared the village they belonged to, and they eyed each other with caution.

Lightning, wind, water and stone

Everyone in the armies maintained a dignified expression due to the impending conflict and looked at the armies of other countries.

Despite maintaining an alliance, it was temporary and they remained cautious towards each other.

To avoid accidents, each army maintained a distance of hundreds of meters and only the commanders of each army approached each other.

Unbeknownst to the ordinary shinobi, on the ship where each commander was located, there was a figure wrapped in a robe with a hood that concealed their identities.

Even the sensors of each army didn't know they were there because they suppressed their large chakra.

After reaching an agreement, the commanders returned to their positions and ordered the attack.

They will no longer try to resolve the barriers through fuinjutsu masters, but will attack simultaneously until the barrier falls down on its own.

In the capital of the land of whirlpools, another meeting was being held by the 10 elders of the Uzumaki clan.

"It looks like they're going to attack," said the first elder, looking at the projection showing the meeting of the armies of the four great villages.

The 10 elders had dignified looks as they gazed at the 20,000 ninjas outside the barrier that protected the island.

Although the patriarch had ordered the clan's army to stay out of this fight, they were still worried about him.

Through the absolute loyalty and devotion they had for him, they could not help but worry about their master.

"this… "

Suddenly, they watched in amazement as the clouds in the sky rapidly turned black and numerous lines of lightning swam among the clouds.

Outside the barrier, the armies of the 4 great villages realized that something was wrong when black clouds rapidly formed.

"this…"

"It's impossible"

"They didn't tell me we would be fighting against this"

All the shinobi from the 4 Great Villages and the Uzumaki elders who were watching what happened from the capital stared in disbelief as a huge lightning dragon's head emerged from the black clouds

"Descent of the Dragon!"

Suddenly, everyone on the battlefield heard it at the same time.
