After breakfast Lin Meiyin walked outside and was about to get into her car when Gu Chenyu hugs her from behind.
"Gu Chenyu what's wrong?" She asked as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
"Where does wifey think she's going without giving her husband a good bye kiss?" He asked.
Lin Meiyin turned around and looks at him
she looked dumbfounded and confused.
Gu Chenyu's eyebrows formed the word chuan.
"What's wrong?" He asked
"When did you become so clingy?" She asked.
"I am clingy" he said seizing her lips and giving her a gentle kiss. Lin Meiyin whimpers, "We're outside"she said her cheeks turning red.
"And we're married, you should get used to it"he said rubbing her chin affectionately as he traced his fingertips on her chin.
"I'll be waiting for you"he said, Lin Meiyin nods and then she gets into her car and drives off.
Lin Meiyin drove to Jeong foundation and then she starts her lessons.After lessons Lin Meiyin walked into her office and saw a small figure inside, sitting on her piano and swinging her legs.
There was a child, a Six year old.
"It's really you I can't believe I'm standing in front of her"said the girl. She looked a little chubby and very cute with short black hair and glasses. Lin Meiyin looks at her, giving her a confused expression seeing that the girl was going to hug her, Lin Meiyin backed away and the weird girl paused.
"I'm sorry I scared you"she said with a laugh and hiding her hands behind her back, and trying to cover her embarrassment.
"I'm Rui-Rui but my full name is Shen Rui"said the girl giving Lin Meiyin a cute look.
"Um where's your mommy?what are you doing in my office?" Lin Meiyin asked.
"Grandfather sent me here"said Shen Rui.
"And I don't have a mommy, or a daddy I'm an orphan"said Shen Rui with a sad look but that immediately vanished and turned into a bright smile.
"Master Bo"said Lin Meiyin.
"Hmmm"Shen Rui nodded
, "I've never seen you before" said Lin Meiyin studying the little child in front of her.
"Are you sure you don't remember, we have met before Auntie do I really look too old now"said Shen Rui.
"You saved me from a tree two years ago you played in an orphanage and I was there i was stuck on a tree and you helped me climb down"said Shen Rui.
Lin Meiyin's brain rotates backward she remembered seeing a little girl stuck on a high oak tree clinging unto the branch like her life depended on it.
"You look different " said Lin Meiyin finally recalling.
"Auntie seemed to have a lot, you look like an actress very pretty, very pretty " said Shen Rui.
"You two seem to get along so quickly " said Master Bo coming into the room.
"Master " the both greeted with a respectful bow.
Master Bo nods "Old man is just bored, Lin Meiyin and that brat Gu Chenyu are too busy for grandpa, so grandpa has chosen a disciple, well Rui Rui seems to very fond of you so I'll let you teach her"said Master Bo.
"How is that keeping you busy "said Lin Meiyin.
"She chose you Meiyin, by the way how's my grandchild project I'm not getting any younger"he said walking away.
Lin Meiyin's cheeks turn red "Master what are you talking about?"she blushed.
"Auntie what grandchild project?"Shen Rui asked. Lin Meiyin looked at her and sighed,as she shook her hair.
"You don't need to know about that" said Lin Meiyin.
"I like this auntie" said Shen Rui hugging Lin Meiyin's tigh like a child. Lin Meiyin looked at the energetic little girl hugging her tigh like a cartoon character, Lin Meiyin smiled and ruffles her hair.
"Okay then Rui Rui what would you like to play?"Lin Meiyin asked.
"I want to learn both like Auntie"said Shen Rui.
"Okay then you'll have to choose to play one first"said Lin Meiyin.
She Rui nods like an obedient child and sits down next to Lin Meiyin.
"I can play the piano I used to learn with cardboard" said Shen Rui.
"That's very smart"said Lin Meiyin.
"What's your favorite piece?"Lin Meiyin asked.
"I don't know the name, but my favorite is the one Auntie played that day at the orphanage"said Shen Rui.
Lin Meiyin's brows furrowed she looked at the little girl sitting next to her in wonder.
Shen Rui had a special vibe that she enjoyed, you would never want to let her go.
"Alright Rui Rui let me see what you got" said Lin Meiyin with a wide smile.
"Okay"said Shen Rui smiling showing her upper missing teeth,that hadn't grown out yet.
Shen Rui takes a deep breath and then she starts playing, immediately her fingers touched the keys, there was a wonderful melody flowing out of the piano.
Lin Meiyin was amazed as she looked at the little girl play, she wipes away a stray tear and then brushes some stray hair from Shen Rui 's face and tucked it below her ear.
Shen Rui looked up at Lin Meiyin her eyes filled with longing for love.
"That was very beautiful"said Lin Meiyin with a smile.
Soon tears start rolling down Shen Rui 's cheeks. Lin Meiyin was startled for a moment and she was confused too wondering what she had done to make her cry.
"Why are you crying?" Lin Meiyin asked wiping her tears, but it only made things worse.
Shen Rui bursts into tears and then she threw herself into Lin Meiyin.
"I don't want to Auntie to leave me again, I want to stay with Auntie forever"said Shen Rui. Lin Meiyin was dumbfounded how can a child get so attracted to her from the first day they met, Lin Meiyin's heart ached as the little girl cried.
"If Auntie leaves me again Rui Rui will be left all alone again Auntie and Master Bo are the only one who understand Rui Rui everyone else thinks I'm garbage because I was found in a trash can"said Shen Rui.
"Okay I won't leave don't cry now"said Lin Meiyin, in shock who would leave a baby in a trash can, she starts coaxing the little thing.
"You can be my little star, you're not trash you are very special and Auntie will never treat you like trash"said Lin Meiyin wiping her tears.
Shen Rui stops crying and eventually falls asleep in Lin Meiyin's arms the little girl had a sense of humor.
From crying to sleeping she looked very cute, but really energetic. Lin Meiyin covers her with her coat and brushes some hair off her face, "Motherhood looks so good on you?" Said Master Bo walking into the office.
Lin Meiyin rolls her eyes and she looks at Master Bo as she puts a soft cushion on Shen Rui 's head for a pillow.
"I wonder when you'll have a kid"said Master Bo.
"Where did you find her?"she asked Master Bo.
"I found her in the Orphanage playing with cardboards like it was a real piano, I decided to adopt her and train her, well everyone thought she was just playing like a kid but I imagined the piece she was playing and it was one of your piece.
I got interested in helping her discover her skills, but immediately this little thing saw your picture she said she wanted to meet you following me around all day and demanding to see her idol" said Master Bo.
"Well she chose you what can I say"Master Bo sighed.
"You have gotten yourself a grandchild"said Lin Meiyin clicking her tongue.
Master Bo nods his head and then looks at the two of them, "She reminds me of you, when I found you"said Master Bo.
"I like her"said Lin Meiyin "She's very sweet "she adds.
