The Finger Bearer's Room.
The Special Grade Cursed Spirit giggled. Its Cursed Energy was overwhelming.
Yuji Itadori reached for his Dragon-Bone sword.
CLANG!
A flash of light.
Yuji's left hand—the one holding the sword—fell to the floor. Blood sprayed everywhere.
"AHHH!"
Yuji stared at his stump. The Finger Bearer clapped its hands, laughing hysterically.
"It's too fast," Yuji gasped, tying his belt around his arm as a tourniquet.
"Sukuna!" Yuji yelled internally. "Help me! If I die, you die!"
"I refuse," Sukuna's mouth opened on Yuji's cheek.
"I have 18 other fingers. I don't need you."
"But I'm warning you, brat. If you switch with me... I'll kill Fushiguro. Then I'll kill the woman. And finally..."
"I'll tear that foul-mouthed Spirit (Zetsu) to pieces!"
BOOM!
The Finger Bearer fired a blast of pure Cursed Energy. Yuji and Megumi barely dodged. The wall exploded.
"Megumi!" Yuji shouted. "Find Nobara! Take her and run! Give me a signal when you're out!"
"Then I'll release Sukuna!"
Megumi gritted his teeth. "Don't die, Yuji!"
He summoned Nue and flew into the darkness to find the others.

The Underground.
Nobara Kugisaki stood atop a pile of dead Cursed Spirits. She was panting.
"Mama's Boy!" she yelled at White Zetsu, who was hiding under a corpse. "Do something! We're gonna die!"
"Now is not the time for the Big Brother to step in," Zetsu trembled. "I'm protecting your back!"
"Useless!"
Above them, dozens of flying Cursed Spirits swarmed.
Nobara threw her last nail.
"Straw Doll Technique: Hairpin!"
BOOM!
Blue flames erupted, clearing the sky.
But Nobara collapsed. She was out of Cursed Energy. Her nails were gone. Her hammer was broken.
"At least you did something," she muttered, leaning against Zetsu.
But on the ground... two Grade 2 Curses (Mushroom Heads) approached.
"I can't believe I'm going to die with a Mama's Boy," Nobara sighed. She couldn't move.
"Nobara! Zetsu!"
Megumi's voice echoed from the distance.
Nobara's eyes lit up. "Megumi!"
SWISH.
A Cursed Spirit lunged at her. Its claws aimed for her throat.
Too late. She couldn't dodge.
BAM!
Someone shoved her hard.
"The Big Brother said..." Zetsu's voice rang out. "He'd never let a Cursed Spirit touch his Underling!"
SPLAT.
Zetsu's head flew off his shoulders. It rolled across the floor, stopping at Nobara's feet.
His headless body stood there for a second, then collapsed.
Nobara stared at the head. Zetsu's eyes were open, frozen in a goofy expression.
"White... Zetsu?"
"Senior Zetsu!" Megumi arrived, his eyes widening in horror.
He sacrificed himself?
That coward... that boastful idiot... saved her?
Tears welled in Nobara's eyes.
"AHHHH!!"
"YOU BASTARDS!"
"THAT MAMA'S BOY... WAS MY PARTNER!"
ROAR!
Blue Cursed Energy exploded from Nobara. Rage refilled her reserves.
She didn't have a hammer. She didn't have nails.
She clenched her fists.
"DIE!!!"
Nobara charged at the Cursed Spirits, screaming.
