Chapter 1 - BLOOD OF THE WIND

Chapter 1: The Inheritance That Should Not Exist

The world was not always the way it is now.

Long ago, humans and jinn lived without hiding from one another.

There was no clear boundary—no fear.

But when power became something people tried to control,

blood was mixed where it should never have been.

That was when the disaster began.

Irdoon did not know this history.

He was an ordinary boy—

or at least, that was what he believed.

A NORMAL LIFE

Irdoon lived with his parents in a small house near the mountains.

His father, Aadan, was a quiet man with few words and eyes that always seemed to be thinking.

His mother, Sahra, was kind and gentle, but always alert—as if she was waiting for something.

They were not rich.

But their life was peaceful.

Every night, Sahra would say the same thing:

"Do not go near the mountains, my son."

Irdoon never understood why.

The mountains looked ordinary—

giant rocks, endless wind, nothing more.

Yet sometimes, when the wind grew stronger,

Irdoon would hear a strange sound—

Metal dragging.

Like something enormous, bound by chains.

THE HIDDEN OBJECT

Irdoon did not know his parents were not ordinary people.

Years before his birth,

Aadan and Sahra were involved in a forbidden experiment inside a secret laboratory.

The experiment involved:

Jinn blood

The human body

And an ancient object believed to break the boundary between worlds

The object had no name that could be spoken freely.

Whoever used it would be heard by the jinn.

The experiment failed.

Many died.

Some became… something else.

Aadan and Sahra escaped—barely.

And they paid the price later.

THE NIGHT EVERYTHING CHANGED

That night, light rain was falling.

Irdoon was asleep when he heard a voice—

Not a human voice.

"The inheritance is awakening…"

Irdoon opened his eyes.

Outside, the wind had stopped.

Inside the house, the air was cold.

Aadan stood near the door, something hidden in his hand.

Sahra was shaking.

"Irdoon," she whispered,

"if anything happens… run."

Irdoon did not understand.

Then—

A dark shadow crawled out of the wall.

It was not an ordinary creature.

Its eyes burned with unnatural light.

"Where is the object?" it demanded.

Aadan stepped forward.

"You will not find it in my son."

Those were his last words.

Irdoon closed his eyes.

When he opened them again—

his father was on the ground.

No screams.

No chaos.

Only heavy silence.

Sahra grabbed Irdoon and pushed him toward a hidden door.

"Don't stop. Don't come back."

Irdoon ran.

THE END OF CHAPTER 1

The wind returned that night.

And with it, destiny.
