"There's… more?!"
The staff member was already certain—
This was a once-in-a-lifetime payday.
Not just 100,000—
Today's revenue would easily exceed 200,000.
"Sir, please rest assured. We'll provide your Pokémon with the best service possible."
In her eyes—
Those weren't Pokémon.
They were walking piles of money.
Full Service
"By the way, sir," the staff added politely,
"while your Pokémon are being treated, you may relax in our lounge—or go out shopping."
"If you leave, please inform your Pokémon in advance."
Ethan raised an eyebrow.
So it's full-service hosting…
He chose to stay.
His Pokémon were too powerful—
If anything went wrong, he needed to be nearby.
An Unexpected Encounter
When Ethan entered the lounge—
He froze.
"Geng Zhi? What are you doing here?"
Standing there was none other than Geng Zhi.
"Ethan? Aurora? You're here too?" Geng Zhi grinned.
"This place? It's mine."
Ethan blinked.
"…Wait, I thought your family was in construction?"
Geng Zhi shrugged casually.
"I switched to the Breeding Department, so I figured—why not buy a Pokémon massage shop for fun during summer break?"
Ethan: "…?"
Of course.
Rich kid logic.
A Gift from a Tycoon
"So you're here for Pokémon massage? Where are your Pokémon?"
"They're already inside."
"Wait here."
Geng Zhi stepped out—
And returned minutes later with a large bag.
"These are special incense."
"Different types for different Pokémon attributes."
"They temporarily boost strength—for about a week."
"Use them freely. If you run out, just come find me."
Ethan took the bag.
It was heavy.
At least several kilograms.
Enough to last a long time.
He smiled.
"Well, since it's from a rich guy—I won't be polite."
Geng Zhi waved it off.
"Don't be. It's nothing."
"Oh—and your bill? It's on me."
Catching Up
The two started chatting.
When Ethan casually mentioned everything he had experienced recently—
Geng Zhi went silent.
Then—
He lost it.
"You've been through ALL THAT in just over a week?!"
Meteor encounterWishing Star acquisitionEvolution stonesMeeting God-tier PokémonFighting an ancient Totem Peak monsterEven destroying a major structure
Any one of those—
Would be a once-in-a-lifetime event.
Ethan?
Did them all in days.
Geng Zhi sighed deeply.
"…I kind of regret switching to Breeding."
"If I stayed in Battle, maybe I could've experienced all that too."
Different Paths
Ethan shook his head.
"Everyone walks a different path."
"Plenty of people would envy your life too."
Geng Zhi was rich, free, supported—
Able to do whatever he wanted.
That kind of life wasn't something most people could ever have.
Back to Fishing
Geng Zhi changed the topic.
"By the way, the King of Fishing Tournament is going on. Did you check it out?"
Ethan smirked.
"Yeah. Right now, I'm in first place."
Geng Zhi froze.
"…You're first in that too?!"
He was starting to feel personally attacked.
"Only for now," Ethan shrugged. "If no one catches something over 30 pounds this afternoon."
"There are bigger fish in the sea."
Even that 30+ pound Magikarp had nearly drained him.
Anything bigger?
He might not handle it.
New Rival?
Geng Zhi suddenly stood up.
"No way. I'm going."
"I have to try."
"Maybe I can beat you in fishing."
Ethan laughed.
Now this—
Was getting interesting.
