They arrived at Rowena's room.
The healer saw them enter the room, bowed his head and left the room. Olivia sat beside Rowena's bed, she saw Rowena gaining her skin colour and smiled.
The Prince saw her sister healing and didn't believe his own eyes and looked at his father which he nodded to confirm his suspicion. The Prince was glad his sister is getting fine but looked unbothered by the information.
Aleric watched his own son not show emotions for his sister recovering rate but understood him. Malrac kept quite the entire time.
"It's time for dinner." Aleric said to Olivia and everyone in the room.
Since it was already evening.
Everyone nodded, Olivia called knights to stand guard at Rowena's room before she could leave the room. Aleric didn't try to stop because he understood her and probably thinking of increasing guards around his children.
They decided to the hall, to eat their meals and when they arrived, the table was already filled with food. The maids and butlers were standing near the table.
The table hand 20 chairs, 9 on the right, 9 on the left, 1 armchair at the front and the other end chair.
The king sat at the armchair and Olivia at side chair on the right besides Aleric. The Prince sat on the side chair on the left besides his father while Aleric sat at the end side chair on the left. Everyone, maids and butlers, wasn't happy that Malrac can sit at the table while they have to stand the entire time.
They were used to it by the way.
"It looks like she be able to wake up tomorrow." Olivia said as she at her meal.
"I guess so." Aleric said as he at his meal. The prince watches his parents talk, said nothing but at his food. Malrac didn't say anything either.
"We should invite Lucas sometimes." Olivia said as she looked at her husband.
"Yeah we should but I don't think he'll come after he learns the truth." Aleric said as he thought back to his meeting with Zain.
"What are you talking about? What did you do? Or say?" Olivia said as she looked at Aleric with doubt and suspicion.
"Nothing. Besides, he looked like he doesn't want to come to the castle." Aleric said brushing the topic off.
"Can you tell me what happened in that meeting?" Olivia said genuinely curious about what happened.
"He seems to be well versed in ruling."
"What do you mean by that?"
"He knew about wars between kingdoms, he knew about the empire and I don't know what else."
"War is not secret. Everyone can see it and join. What about the empire?"
"Honey, he knew about territorial warfare and not a front that the kingdom is refusing to supply with resources."
"Wait, you mean he knew the real reason for war?"
"Yes. About the Empire, he knew that the was an agreement with the empire but I don't know if he knows the full context."
"What? Who is he really?"
"I don't know. This is probably his first appearance."
They talked about Zain and Aleric's meeting. Aleric to his wife everything that happened in the room except the part on how he became a noble. The king only said he gave him that title to be in his side and never revealed everything.
It was already night. They decided to go to sleep.
The next morning.
Rowena was still in her room, awake but didn't get off bed. Olivia woke up and went to her room, found out she was awake and was overjoyed to see that. She quickly called the healer, her husband and son.
Aleric woke up and went straight to his study. He was going to do paper walk, update all the documents and mostly about Zain. A maid knocked at the door, to tell him his wife is calling for him in his daughter's room. He stopped doing paperwork and went to the room.
The Prince woke up a did morning work out before he headed straight to his sister's room.
Malrac woke up before Aleric and followed him around.
Everyone arrived at Rowena's room almost at the same time when Olivia called them. They saw Rowena sitting on the bed and the healer examining her.
"Remarkable!" The healer said as he examined Rowena.
"Is the something wrong Bram?" Olivia said as she looked worried. The healer's name appears to be Bram.
"Nothing is wrong your Majesty. I'm surprised by her condition." Bram said looking amazed at Rowena
"What's wrong with her condition?"
"It looks like she was never cursed or bedridden Ma'am. She's perfectly healthy."
""WHAT!"" Aleric and the prince said in shock at the same time.
"It's the truth. She can take a walk if she likes." Bram said.
Rowena looked around the room searching for someone but didn't see the person she was looking for.
"Mom" Rowena said as she looked at her mother.
"Yes darling." Olivia said to her daughter with a smile on her face.
"Where is the man who cure me? I want to thank him." Rowena said to her mother as she looked at her.
"Honestly honey, he left yesterday. He went to where he is staying." Olivia said to her.
"Where is he staying?"
"At the inn but you need to be healed first then we can arrange the meeting with him." Aleric said to Rowena as he looked at her.
Rowena wanted to rush her father to request the meeting immediately but stopped herself and not reason with him.
Everyone in the room decided to leave Rowena in the room after talking to her. The maids came after to take Rowena to the bathhouse near near since everyone royalty member has their own bathhouse which is not surprising for royalty to have their own bathhouse.
The maids bathed Rowena but Rowena appeared lost on her thoughts when she was bathed. They finished bathing her and eventually dressed her. They led her to the hall to eat her breakfast.
She met her mother sitting at the table and said, "Aren't I suppose to go to the bathhouse, why am I in the hall?"
When she said that, Olivia became shocked and said, "You just came from the bathhouse." Olivia became scared after saying that decided to call someone.
"BRAM! SOMEONE CALL BRAM!" Olivia said as she screamed in the hall. Since Bram was nearby, he came immediately after he heard Olivia's call.
"You called madam?" He said as he bowed towards Olivia.
"My daughter doesn't remember going to the bathhouse. You said she's fine." Olivia said as she looked Bram with dead eyes.
Bram went to Rowena and inspected her again.
"She's perfectly healthy. She's seemed to be confounded on her senses but everything is fine." Bram said as he looked at Olivia.
"Confounded in senses? What do you mean?" Olivia said in confusion.
"The princess was bedridden for the whole 2 years. Her sense are probably confused and she might miss some few instances or moments from time to time but everything will get better after few days Madam." Bram explained to Olivia.
"Okay. Are you sure everything is going to be alright after few days?" Olivia asked Bram.
"To tell you the truth, I'm not sure it's going to be few days maybe 3 to 7 days at best. Everything would be okay Madam." Bram said as he looked down shamelessly trying not to look at Olivia in the eye.
Olivia understood and dismissed Bram. She called Rowena to have breakfast.
