It is a gloomy place, saturnine, an inferno of fear. The eerie feeling is everywhere on every corner. A forest where the sunlight does not shine, but is lit by fire torches and a magic moon created by the witch, Garamba. The most powerful and evil dark magic user in the Dark Forest where they worship and follow the footsteps of Gwanhoya.
After being defeated by the witches of the white forest, with the assistance of the late chief and the father of Mukura. The dark witches were driven back into their forest after attempting to resurrect Gwanhoya. With her last efforts, Garamba marks the body of Tofireyi, attaching Gwanhoya's demonic spirit on him, later on leading to his death.
Dhoramu, the place where all the pure are made impure, all the light is turned to darkness, where all hope is turned to despair and all dreams are turned to nightmares.
And their leader wears a pitch-black robe, with nets. Her eyes pitch black, light skinned with a slim body.
"Do you feel it, lord?" one of her servants asks her while hiding behind a tree.
A smile appears on Garamba's face, "Yes, I can feel it!" Garamba answers.
"Do you really think it is her?" another of her servants asks, hiding behind a tree.
"I am certain that it is her, back in this world with a body. Flesh, blood and bones!"
She begins laughing wickedly, raising her arms and a dark storm begins all over the Dark forest.
"The time has come for us to take this world for our own!"
At Gwanhoya's Cave
In her cave, Gwanhoya, preparing for her next she feels immense dark magical power almost similar to her own rising rapidly from a faraway land. Stops what she is doing and concentrates on the dark magical power that has erupted out of nowhere.
"Wrath! We need to leave and go somewhere!" she shouts calling him.
Her servant comes forward, groaning loudly. One hand on his arm and they both turn to dust to.
Reappearing in front of a dark shield. Lay her hand on it and it attacks her.
"This barrier is similar to the one at the forest of the white witch, only that it is not hidden from me. That will make my break in, easier."
Wrath growls and nods.
"Well, that is our cue to get into the heart of the dark forest and hopefully it won't be disappointing as my expedition to the White Witch's forest."
They both walk in through the barrier. And are met by the leader of the dark witches, Garamba. Who cannot believe that after a long-time trying to resurrect Gwanhoya, she is finally in front of her!
Gwanhoya sniffs the air, "Your bloodline, it has a connection to mine but it is not mine, whose is it?" she asks grabbing her face.
"I am of the bloodline of Turazvose, your little sister!" she replies confidently.
"Ohh, my beloved little sister, punished for her love for me because she would not give them the information, they desired on me. Wrath!" she calls her servant.
He comes closer to her blowing black smoke from his nose and mouth. Gwanhoya holds his face with both her hands.
"I need you take a walk into the world and do what you do best! Wreak Havoc! I have some catching up to do here with my little sister's descendants! If it goes well and fast, I will join you."
Wrath bows down and walks to leave the forest to do her bidding.
"Is that a demon, my lord?" Garamba asks looking at Wrath leave.
Gwanhoya turns to look at Garamba, "No, it is just a human that I mutated!"
"The power emanating from that thing is beyond an average mutated human being, nonetheless, only you can do such a great deed and no other can compare."
"I know!" she walks forward, "So, tell me, why do you live in hiding when you command such power?"
"I am honoured that the great one acknowledges my power!" she bows, "We were forced to retreat and settle here after our war with the white witches where the chief of Domboguru and the magician Tofireyi joined forces with the white witches."
"You survived a war with the late Chief of Domboguru?"
"I did survive! And what do you mean by late chief?" Garamba asks for clarification.
"Unfortunately, he lost his life in our battle after I acquired this body and his power was not normal for a human being," she looks up in the dark sky, "Even as a demon with all the power I possess, it did not seem like I can defeat him in a fare fight but with the help of my descendant Mukura, I managed to land a decisive blow."
Gwanhoya turns to look at Garamba who on the outside is keeping her composure but inside is hurt by the news of his death. But why would she be hurt by his death if they were enemies?
"I take it that the Chief had some value in your life! What is your name?" she asks.
"My name is Garamba!"
"I see, Garamba! But it is not a dark name, how come the queen of the dark witches has a good name that defies what she stands for!?"
"It is a name I was given by my mother after birth!"
"A name that is the direct opposite of my disgraceful descendant, Mukura, who chose to betray me!" she sounds infuriated, "But I can't say she agreed to do my bidding in the first place but still though, she should be by my side!"
"Mukura, you say? And which one of your lines does she come from?"
"The one the magician you were talking about! His name, I do not think I know it!"
"Tofireyi!?"
"Is that his name?"
"Yes!"
"That name has been passed down my family for generations and it still exists!" she puts her hands at the back, "How powerful was he?"
"His power rivalled that of the Chief!"
"So, killing him was a good call? If he was alive, all this would have been close to impossible!"
"But with your power ...…"
"My power is not even close, even if I had gone full power, it would have been futile. The chief had enough power to level a whole continent!"
"I see, but if I may ask, who is this Mukura person you are talking about? Because last I checked, Tofireyi had two daughters, the first born named Monalisa and the second one her name is Divine. Born from different mothers."
"Different mothers?"
"Yes, Monalisa was given birth to by Takada and Divine by the Alabaster Weald ruler, The White witch queen, Genteel."
Gwanhoya laughs and ceases her laugh, "Now it is starting to make sense!"
"What is starting to make sense?"
"The rage that was coming from the white queen, why she kept asking about her daughter and why she did not kill her when I send her to assault the Enchanted Forest."
"You send Divine to attack the White witch's forest or this Mukura you are talking of?"
"Tell me, how old is this Divine you are talking about?"
"She must be 18 or 19 by now and her birthday must have happened recently!"
"I have memories of this Divine in my mind but she disappears and then Mukura emerges."
"What do you mean memories of this Divine and then she disappears?"
Gwanhoya levitates and projects images of Divine from where she begins and ends. Garamba watches the images carefully.
"The body I inhabited belongs to a girl named Monalisa and she is the sister of Mukura and the images of Divine this is where they start and end."
She projects emerges of where Mukura begins she is a little older.
"Unless they are supressed memories in between this is Mukura and her age matches that of Divine and there are memories of Takada giving birth to her in Monalisa's head but now that you have mentioned it, I think they created memories and implanted them."
"What do you mean?" Garamba seems confused, "Is this not Genteel? And why is she wearing modern outfits in the other images?"
"Wait, that is how Genteel looked at a younger age?"
"I am sure that is Genteel! Except for the hairdo and the clothing."
"You seem to speak about her like you two were close at some point, how strange."
"Ohh yes, I did know her, she was my friend at some point but destiny set us on different paths and now we are arch-enemies one of the darkness and the other of the light!"
Gwanhoya places her hand on Garamba's shoulder, "This is the time you come out of the shadows and spread your darkness into the world and rule the world by my side!"
"Yes, my lord!"
"They put fake memories in her head for a reason, maybe it was to throw me off her!"
"But why?"
"I have no idea, but it does not matter!" she smiles looking at Garamba, "Can you show me the rest of the forest, I would love to see the beauty. There is an eerie feeling here and I love to explore a little with your guidance of course."
"Of course."
She leads the way into the deep parts of the dark forest. Dead vegetation and the river filled with baleful water flowing in it, red eyes coming out of every corner.
The view is delightful and Gwanhoya is smiling seeing this delight. It wreaks of death and she is a demon of death.
"I can see you are pleased with what you are seeing!"
"You are correct!" Gwanhoya clears her throat, "Tell me about your magical abilities! Are they as strong as the ones of the Whit witch leader?"
"They are opposite to those of the white witch leader!"
"And like her, do you have a child?"
"I heard he is no more!"
"I see, and what was his name again?"
A servant rushes over and bows before Garamba. She looks at him.
"Speak!"
"The prophet of the snake god is here my queen and a great army rallies behind him and has called for you! They are waiting on the eastern side of the Dark forest right outside the magical barrier," he relays his message.
"Tell him to wait and while at it gather our forces and prepare for war! I have a feeling they are not here for a peaceful talk!"
The servant departs and Gwanhoya upon hearing the news smiles, "Well, well, guess I will get to have some fun after all!"
"I was about to apologise for the disturbance but it seems like there is no need!"
"Shall we then?" Gwanhoya asks with a malevolent smile on her face.
Garamba turns her eyes red, "With pleasure!"
The two quickly head to the Eastern side. To meet the Prophet of the snake god.
A large army rallies behind him, chanting and stumping their feet on the ground wearing armour that looks like snake skin with snake helmets.
"Did this tribe not evolve like the others?" Gwanhoya asks looking at the army wearing ancient uniforms.
Looking at the large army in front of them, "I admire them, for their adherence and commitment to their culture!"
"How admirable indeed!" Gwanhoya looks at Garamba, "Would you like to hear what they have to say or just begin wipe them out?"
Garamba moves forward to the barrier, "I know what they want but it will be more fun if they tell me as if I have no idea what they are here for."
Gwanhoya follows her and the two go through the barrier to meet the prophet of the snake god. Immediately after laying his eyes on them approaches to meet them half way.
"Blessed be the queen of the Dark forest!" Shato shouts getting closer to them.
"To what do I owe the displeasure of your visit, Shato!"
"How rude! But it was greatly expected!" he breathes heavily, "I am here to take what belongs to us!"
"And what can that be? I do not recall me having something that is yours."
"So, that is how you want to do this?" he looks back, puts his hands on his waist, "We are here for the heart of the snake god!"
"Ohh that!" she sounds surprised, "After our war I took it as a trophy, so, it is no longer yours but it is however mine, it is part of my spoils from the war."
"It is an essential part of our religion and we are not leaving without it! Even with your great power, you cannot defeat us all and your new puppet there will not be able to help you!"
"I wonder about that!"
Gwanhoya is infuriated, "Did he just call me your puppet?"
"I am afraid so, my lord!"
"Very well, step aside, they are all mine!"
"Okay!"
The demon flames surround her body. Shato perceiving this he turns to run back into the army. Garamba levitates to watch from a distance so that she won't get burned with the flames.
"Let the massacre begin!" Garamba says softly.
"Your power is not of this world, Garamba's new servant!" Shato shouts from within the crowd, "I heard she is good at taming demons but this is exceptional!"
Gwanhoya roars out flames from her mouth burning the soldiers.
"This will not kill you! As snakes you will shed your skins!"
She raises her hand up in the sky and watches them closely.
"But you will not be able to survive the fire of the gods!"
"Lighting rains!" she slowly descents her hand and lighting hits the army killing many of them while they are still recovering from the fire.
"Would you like to have some too?"
"Not many! I would like to know how it feels to kill a prophet!"
"Very well, you can have him!" she separates Shato from within his army and sends him to Garamba.
Garamba descends, brightens her red eyes darkness emanating from her with a smile touching both sides of her ears.
"Before we battle queen of the Dhoramu, do you know that what you have brought into this world will be the death of us all!"
"Says the person who has waged war against me and my people!"
"This is not about you and your people versus me and my people but about the whole world!"
"The world does not concern me!"
"Would it interest you if your child was in it?"
"My child is dead! He was caught in a crossfire and died on the spot!"
"Your child was not even on any battle field!"
With haste she grabs him by the neck out of anger, "Enough with your lies!"
"Now why would I lie to you about this?"
A green snake skin emerges on him, his eyes turn into green snake eyes along with a tongue. The two lock eyes with angry faces on them. Shato disappears from her grip, leaving a skin in her hands. He spits poison at her and it lands on her eyes burning her and he wastes no time and start beating her down.
Garamba lies down beaten and her eyes burned. Shato smiles with looking down at her, and he steps on her.
"You have grown weak, Garamba!" he laughs, "Your child being alive should not be the reason for you to be weak but strong witch!"
She does not answer.
"This is disappointing!"
Gwanhoya says coming over to them after wiping out the army. Shato starts sweating looking at her getting closer to them, he can't even move his leg from Garamba. She squats looking at her with petty eyes.
"Down the queen goes! Is this all you worth?" sneers looking at her, "Contrive that power inside you! No wonder why the you lost the war against the white witch; it is because of those emotions and you need to purge them and be succumbed into the darkness whole."
"You must not listen to this demon, Garamba! You must not heed her deceitful words; your power is great and it is not a weakness to have emotions."
"Says the one who is using her as a foot stool!"
"If my child really is alive then I am going to find him if it is the last thing I do!"
"Finally, the atmosphere is now changing!" Gwanhoya is delighted with the change.
This is not how she wanted the atmosphere to change but Garamba is human after all. She steps back from them to watch.
"Dark storm!" she shouts and darkness gathers around her like a tornado growing removing Shato from her.
She gets up and stops the dark storm. Shato falls to the ground and slowly gets up to face her.
"I thank you for the news! But I think you have over stayed your welcome, servant of the snake god!"
"I will not be leaving here without the heart!"
Runs toward him, jumps and lands on his chest with her knees hold him by the back of his head. He struggles to remove her. Moves her hand and thrust her elbow on top of his head.
"I thank you for divulging the information on my child!"
Creates a tiny spear with her hand with her darkness. Looks at it passionately with her red eyes licking her lips.
"If my lord is here now, it just means there is not one in the world who has the power to stop me." She laughs.
"I have learned a lot about playing with my food! It does not end well." Gwanhoya warns Garamba who seems to be delaying.
She sends the arrow right through his forehead killing him in an instant.
"I thought killing a prophet would be exciting!" she sounds disappointed turning to Gwanhoya, "This is a disappointment!"
Gwanhoya walks towards her, "Yes, it is but what did you expect, his power was not even a scratch quarter of yours."
"Yes, you are right! Now let us return to where we were and finish showing you the rest of the place!"
"That sounds like a great idea but first I should tell you something."
"What is it?"
"It is about the two who have the power to destroy me! A boy and a girl born blessed by a god with the power to stop me."
"How is that possible?"
"Like them both, I am also a god blessed being that is why my power was tiers above that of everyone else but the gods restrained my ambitions so I chose to follow the darkness, guided by the demon Surgat!"
"God blessed?"
"Yes, and I need you to take care of both of them for me."
Garamba bows, "It will be done as you wish!" she looks up at Gwanhoya, "If I may ask, why have you not killed them already?"
"They are still weak and a god protects them from me!"
"A god? Which one among the gods protects them?" Garamba is furious asking.
"The young god!" Gwanhoya answers.
"I shall kill them for you lord and no god will stand in my way!"
"Good, let us continue from where we left off and I will tell you more along the way." Gwanhoya points in the western direction that leads back into the forest.
