The stone walls silent under the pale glow of moon. Inside the royal chambers the queen laboured her breath slow and her hands trembling under the weight of what is to come while the castle shrouded in a heavy mist. The king stood close by rigid and impatience bowing his head down in fear his eyes was filled with worries and a cold calculation that someone could imagine that a man used to controlling everything but could not control this.
Finally, a cry echoed through the quiet walls of the chambers, the princess is born she was small and delicate her fingers curling around the air, her blue eyes opening to the world that anyone who saw those eyes would be stunned. The queen exhaustion melted into relief while the king strode forward when he heard the cry of his child he carried her soft and delicate body while staring at her blue eyes, he was stunned of the beauty he held in his hands he kissed the queen while letting her carry her little princess. The queen pressed her to her chest feeling the tiny heart beat beneath her fingers, and for a moment the fear of the world outside the chamber seemed distant. The courtiers whispered their voices hushed with reverences ,for this child was more than a daughter;she was the hope of the kingdom the living promise of its future.
Any one outside the kingdom ,who didn't know the king would have taught the birth of his daughter was like a curse but the king was more than happy to see his little one before him he did not care if it was a boy or a girl for he has longed for a child for the past ten years and seeing this little child was like a blessing to him.
