Elena's POV
"Get control of yourself!"
"Take her away!"
Shouts exploded around me as I left Rafael's side and rushed toward the mayhem.
Kenzie was yanking someone's hair, her own locks disheveled with part of her dress ripped, her face burning red with rage.
A security guard stood behind her, attempting to drag her back, but Kenzie's grip was savage.
My pulse pounded. This couldn't happen, not today of all days. "Kenzie!" I yelled.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Ask the witch who labeled me a drunk!" Kenzie snarled, tugging even more viciously.
Rafael stepped closer, his voice hushed and strained. "Break this up now, before Mrs. Griffin shows up."
I pushed forward, attempting to peel Kenzie's fingers from the woman's hair. "You need to release her, everyone's staring."
"I don't give a damn!" Kenzie barked. "I need to show her a lesson so nobody else messes with me."
The words shocked me, but I kept going.
I gestured sharply. "I need backup!"
