Kenzie's POV
"What's Dorian's deal?" Lexie demanded, her expression hard. "Has he mentioned anything about... him and Elena?"
"Elena?" she laughed. "Why would Dorian give a damn about that freak?"
Lexie moved closer, frowning. "Haven't you noticed them? How tight they've gotten?"
Another laugh escaped her. "You crack me up, Lexie. Seriously."
"I'm not joking!" Lexie stamped her foot. "I've seen..."
Her attention drifted as she rambled on, her thoughts spinning around how she could use all this house drama to her advantage.
Perfect opportunity for a drink.
"What?" Lexie's sharp tone jerked her back to reality.
"Huh?" she blinked, heat creeping up her neck.
Shit. Did she say that out loud?
Lexie's forehead creased. "I was talking about Dorian."
She didn't want this conversation dragging on, so she headed for the staircase. "Right, Lexie. Catch you later."
She bounded up the stairs, ignoring her protests. Once in her room, she grabbed her whiskey and took a long pull.
