The next day, last night's battle between the real and fake Green Goblin quickly made headlines in major newspapers.

To distinguish between the two, the media specially gave Darian a new codename: Ghoul.

There was no other way; the Osborn Group's exoskeleton armor was too ugly. It didn't look like a positive character at all, and with its all-green coloring, it was really hard to come up with a better-sounding name.

Even J. Jonah Jameson, editor-in-chief of the Daily Bugle and Spider-Man's number one hater, broke tradition to report on the incident.

The headline was: Spider-Man and the Evil Ghost's Unspeakable Secret!

Well, he still liked Spider-Man that much.

Darian, meanwhile, brought the unconscious Green Goblin back to S.H.I.E.L.D..

For this type of supervillain with extraordinary powers, S.H.I.E.L.D. had its own set of professional containment and processing procedures.

[Mission 'Evil Goblin' settlement complete!]

[Rewards: 3000 Experience Points, 60 S.H.I.E.L.D. Reputation, Equipment 'GANTZ Enhanced Suit', Item 'Dark Matter', Item 'Banana Peel']

[Equipment: GANTZ Enhanced Suit (A full-body black jumpsuit that significantly enhances the wearer's physical abilities and provides a certain level of defense)]

[Item: Dark Matter (A special dish made by Amiao, eating it will cause various adverse reactions)]

[Item: Banana Peel (Throw it on the ground, any vehicle that touches it will uncontrollably slip and fall)]

Darian's eyes immediately lit up.

The effect of this GANTZ Enhanced Suit seemed even better than the Green Goblin's exoskeleton armor.

Aside from not having a helmet, there were almost no obvious shortcomings.

Darian decisively put on the GANTZ Enhanced Suit.

The pure black material clung to his body like a second skin, perfectly outlining his muscle lines, full of power and streamlined beauty.

To describe it in two words: crotch-hugging!

"Why do those superheroes like to wear tight suits so much?"

Darian couldn't understand. He felt like wearing this thing was like not wearing clothes at all.

With a thought, the GANTZ Enhanced Suit on his body instantly expanded. His muscle contours suddenly bulged like they were inflated, filled with an explosive sense of power.

Most striking were the LED light strips covering all his joints and torso, which now emitted a faint blue light, making Darian look like a sci-fi warrior.

"Not bad, not bad!"

Feeling the surging power within him, Darian's heart swelled with excitement.

In terms of raw stats, he could previously take on about four or five Matt Lawyers.

But now, after being enhanced by the GANTZ Enhanced Suit, he felt like he could easily beat ten Matt Lawyers!

That was the power of ten Matts!

Of course, this was just his own feeling; the specific effect still needed practical testing.

"But I don't have Matt Lawyer's contact information. It seems a bit troublesome to find him for a test. Who else can I find to try it out with?"

Darian thought with some distress.

At this moment, he was like someone who got an RPG for the first time, eager to find a car to blow up.

However, with Darian's current stats, ordinary people definitely wouldn't do. He needed to find worthy opponents for the test to be valuable.

Steve was out; his fifty-fifty attribute seemed a bit uncanny.

As for Peter, that kid was already miserable enough; beating him up would truly weigh on his conscience.

And Hulk and Thor, those two pure stat monsters—without using equipment and items, challenging them would be pure masochism.

Darian suddenly regretted sending the Green Goblin away so quickly. He should have kept him as a punching bag!

He thought for a moment, then immediately brought up the game map, locked onto Asgard's coordinates, and teleported.

In the blink of an eye, Darian returned to his palace, which was exactly as he had left it.

Not long after walking out of the palace, Darian saw Thor descending from the sky, Mjolnir in hand, and eagerly asked, "Darian! You've finally appeared! Heimdall said you returned to Midgard, is that true?"

Ever since he discovered Darian's disappearance, Thor had sought out Heimdall to find his whereabouts.

Heimdall's eyes could see into every corner of the Nine Realms, and he quickly located Darian's trace.

To Thor's shock, Darian had actually returned to Midgard, and without the Bifrost Bridge!

Darian nodded: "Yeah, I still had to go back and turn in a quest."

Seeing Darian admit it, Thor was even more astonished.

Teleporting across realms was something even his father, Odin, found difficult to do!

Darian didn't pay attention to Thor's reaction and asked directly, "Besides you, are there any other strong opponents here?"

Thor snapped out of it and instinctively replied, "Yes, my father."

Darian: "..."

You want me, a character who just started playing, to challenge the top BOSS directly?

"I mean opponents weaker than you," Darian emphasized.

Thor scratched his head: "You can go to the gladiatorial arena and see. There are many strong Asgardian warriors stationed there, and the highest-ranked ones can even receive rewards from my father, the King."

"There are rewards too?"

Darian's eyes lit up.

Isn't this a ready-made PVP arena with leaderboard rewards?

"Can you take me to see it?"

"Of course."

Thor nodded readily, then spun Mjolnir and habitually reached out to grab Darian by the back of his neck, intending to lift him and fly over.

"No need, I can follow along."

Darian quickly dodged. He didn't want to experience the same treatment as Loki.

Then, he took out his glider from the game inventory, stepped onto it steadily, and hovered in mid-air.

Thor looked surprised: "Is this space magic? No, it doesn't seem to have any magic aura."

Darian was a little surprised: "You know magic?"

Could it be that Thor, this powerful, reckless warrior, was secretly a hidden mage?

"Of course, Loki and I learned magic from Mother when we were children."

When Loki was mentioned, a hint of sadness appeared on Thor's face.

Darian was used to it; Thor had the same expression when he was gnawing on a lamb leg earlier, but he ended up eating more and more heartily.

Darian asked curiously, "Then why have I never seen you use magic?"

"Oh, later I found that magic wasn't as effective as the hammer, so I didn't continue learning it."

Darian: "..."

Alright, I overestimated you.

Darian said no more, controlling the glider and following Thor, who spun his hammer and took to the sky, flying all the way.

Soon, a colossal circular gladiatorial arena appeared at the end of their sight.

The two landed on the edge of the arena, and the deafening cheers and clashing of weapons instantly enveloped them.

On the massive sandy arena, two burly Asgardian men were fiercely wrestling. Each impact kicked up dust and sparks, drawing wild cheers from the spectators.

Darian was quite familiar with one of them; it was Volstagg, one of the Warriors Three.

Had this Magneton finally separated?

As Darian thought this, he heard two familiar shouts.

Looking up, he saw Fandral and Hogun in the stands, cheering for Volstagg.

Alright, I take back what I said.
