Even if Masato Nohara still had the energy to make more children, they'd have enough space.
Not that his back seemed up to such endeavors anymore.
Living peacefully was better than anything else.
Another aspect that pleased Raj was the proximity to smaller clans like the Moonlight, Shiranui, and Sunset.
Once the war ended, he could easily visit them and "harvest" points from their Jonin and Special Jonin.
A stable source of points? Just look at Hayate.
He'd only arrived today and had already politely gifted Raj over two hundred points.
While this was a mere pittance compared to Raj's current wealth, it was a substantial sum for a still-graduating child.
Now that he'd settled in after returning to the village and secured his residence, it was time to pay a visit to the Hyuga Clan.
Hiashi Hyuga had extended multiple invitations, and after postponing twice, Raj should finally go and see what Hiashi truly wanted.
Judging by Hiashi's behavior during the war, his intentions seemed more benevolent than malicious.
Before Raj could even step out, a stream of visitors began arriving.
Most were new neighbors, including ninjas from the gekko clan, Shiranui Clan, Sunset Clan, and other smaller clans.
They came to pay their respects, but since most of the powerful Jonin were still deployed, the visitors were primarily Chunin.
Raj refrained from immediately "harvesting" points.
Instead, he exchanged polite greetings and engaged in casual conversation.
"The people from these clans seem so easy to get along with..."
"That's because Raj is so capable. What does that have to do with you? Now lie down and rest. I told you not to lift anything, but you insisted," Tsume scolded Masato Nohara.
Instead of enjoying his retirement, he had to show off by lifting heavy crates, only to strain his back and need her and Rin to help him.
Rin chuckled softly at the scene.
Bickering was just a part of life, especially now that Masato Nohara was retired and had nothing to do.
As long as their occasional squabbles didn't affect their relationship, they were just a spice of life - much better than the two of them moping around the house with nothing to do.
"Father, if there's nothing else, I'll head over to the hospital."
After catching up with her family, Rin couldn't stay idle for long.
But instead of training, she preferred going to the hospital.
There, she could assist with minor ailments and practice her Medical Ninjutsu.
Rin was well aware of her limitations.
At her core, her primary strength lay in Medical Ninjutsu, not combat.
As soon as she left, the room fell silent.
The couple gazed at their home as if they were dreaming.
What truly amazed them was how Raj they had initially adopted as an ordinary pet could now casually converse with the Clan Heads of the great clans.
On the street, Raj leaped onto a rooftop and surveyed the scene.
It had to be said, the Hyuga Clan's territory was truly magnificent.
Even from the outside, it was clear where the Hyuga Clan's domain ended and where the commoners' and ordinary ninjas' quarters began.
"Meow~ I wonder which way leads to the Main Family?" Raj mused, gazing into the distance.
After scanning the area, it randomly chose an entrance and slipped inside.
The territory was too vast to pinpoint the Main Family's location.
It might as well just wander around.
The Hyuga Clan is truly massive.
But when war breaks out, they fight fiercely, with nearly the entire clan taking to the battlefield.
As Raj traversed the rooftops, it noticed that most rooms and courtyards were occupied only by children and women.
A quick glance revealed hardly any ninjas over the age of ten.
In contrast, the Uchiha Clan's mobilization efforts were considerably weaker.
Of course, the Uchiha Clan couldn't be entirely blamed.
The attitudes of the Third Hokage and Danzo played a significant role in their marginalization.
Had it not been for their consistent policies of exclusion, the Uchiha Clan wouldn't have been perpetually relegated to the periphery.
Raj pondered these thoughts silently.
After wandering around for a while, Raj began to feel tired.
The Hyuga Clan's cursed compound was filled with houses that looked almost identical.
Searching like this, who knew when it would ever find Hiashi?
It leaped down and activated Sage Mode.
Its senses expanded.
Before long, it located Hiashi's position.
Hiashi was at home, doing something unknown.
Another person was present, raising the possibility that they might be... making babies.
Raj hesitated outside, unsure whether to enter.
'Should I go in?'
"Meow~ Maybe I should just go back after all."
Raj crouched on the wall, pondering for a long time before deciding to retreat.
If they're making babies, that would be too awkward.
Just as it was about to leave, the window of Hiashi's room opened.
Hiashi stood there holding a scroll, and indeed, another person was inside.
A quick glance revealed it to be a servant, a girl who looked no older than ten.
'Well, this is even more awkward. Good thing Hiashi can't read my mind...'
With a light leap, it jumped from the wall into the room.
The Clan Head's residence was truly extraordinary.
This room, likely a study, was piled high with books.
Though their contents were unknown, they clearly weren't ordinary volumes.
"Apologies for not noticing you earlier. I was absorbed in my reading. I hope you haven't been waiting long," Hiashi said, leading Raj to the tea room.
Tea is a fine thing.
In the Hyuga Clan, virtually everyone of any status enjoyed drinking tea.
As Raj had wandered through the compound earlier, he'd noticed tea sets displayed in nearly every household.
However, Hiashi bringing him to the tea room felt a bit excessive.
'I'm a cat. Am I supposed to pick up a teacup and sip tea?'
"Natsu, bring Jonin Raj a fresh set of utensils," Hiashi instructed.
"No need, meow," Raj replied, waving a paw.
With a flick of his tail, he deftly wrapped it around the teacup and brought it to his mouth.
Of course, the cup was empty.
This gesture merely indicated he didn't need a replacement.
Cats shouldn't drink too much tea, and Raj had never been particularly fond of it in his previous life.
He really didn't want any, but it seemed tea-drinking was a customary part of Hyuga Clan hospitality...
'Big families are such a hassle.'
"Clan Head," Natsu said.
"Since it says it doesn't need any, then don't bother. You may leave now," Hiashi Hyuga said calmly.
Natsu bowed slightly and slowly withdrew from the tea room.
Natsu? Raj had a vague recollection - she was a maid in the Hyuga Clan, but he couldn't quite place her.
None of these characters were particularly important; he wouldn't have remembered her at all if he hadn't heard her name.
"Raj, you must be from some Holy Land, right?" Hiashi Hyuga asked bluntly, cutting straight to the chase.
