Chapter 3 - Chapter 3 【Seven Days to Kill】!

"Deep Blue, add points!"

Shawn took a deep breath.

Without stopping, he directly clicked on the 'Strength' sequence.

The most basic attribute under the 2-point sequence—Strength.

Attribute: Strength

1 combat skill point—Skull Crusher.

Skull Crusher

"Whoosh----"

Shawn exhaled a long breath.

The moment he finished adding points, he felt a sense of power surging from within him, a burning heat rising from his heart, and the future days seemed filled with hope and light.

"Good, come on!" Shawn's eyes flickered with fire: "On the first day of transmigration, I have to fight my way out of a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. This deal is worth it!"

Whoosh--!

Shawn gripped the entrenching tool with both hands, placing the shovel handle horizontally and striking it directly. The Zombie's head immediately burst open like a watermelon, splattering Shawn's face.

"I didn't expect the first strike to trigger a headshot chance. The 2 points in Strength weren't added in vain."

Seeing such significant results, Shawn became even more motivated.

He swept left and right, hitting six times in a row, knocking down the Zombies that approached him.

Gained Experience +300

Gained Experience +300

A regular Zombie provides 300 experience. Killing 10 at Lv1 is 3000 experience. Calculating with a 1.02 multiplier, advancing from Lv2 to Lv3 should be 3060, which means killing the 11th Zombie.

Calculating in his mind, Shawn glanced around and saw that the entrenching tool was almost broken after this round, and he inwardly thought, "Not good."

His gaze fell on the distant horse carcass, which was almost completely devoured, leaving only a large skeleton. Shawn made up his mind.

He thrust the broken end of the entrenching tool in his hand into the eyes of a Zombie blocking his way, following it with a side kick.

Under the enhancement of two points of Strength, the Zombie was knocked backward, and two or three other Zombies were also overturned.

Stepping directly on the Zombie's chest with his military boots, Shawn took three steps in two, leaping directly to the horse carcass.

Looking at the Zombies still reluctantly licking the bones, Shawn kicked them, opening a gap in the surrounding group of Zombies.

Shawn stepped forward, picked up a horse leg, lifted his military boot, and stomped down heavily!

Crack--!

A distinct crunching sound rang out.

At the same time, Shawn let out a low shout: "Build!"

A strange power was rapidly transforming the horse bone, tempering this section of horse bone directly into a weapon. This was a basic function of the seven days to die system.

When he looked again, a bone club had appeared in Shawn's hand.

Ma Bone Warhammer: Quality 1

Durability: 300

The large, rounded thigh bone of the horse was connected, looking like a giant hammer. Holding it in Shawn's hand gave an indescribable sense of oppression.

Looking at the beasts that continued to surround him, not knowing any better, Shawn grinned, his face smeared with blood.

"A shovel as a club isn't as good as a proper giant hammer. Here I go!"

Shawn casually swung the Ma Bone Warhammer at a nearby Zombie, and it was a casual headshot. The Zombie's head directly exploded and shattered, bringing down the two Zombies next to it as well.

"One killed, two knocked down. This attack range, this critical damage rate, it's awesome!"

Holding the Ma Bone Warhammer, Shawn felt increasingly satisfied. This giant hammer seemed naturally meant to be a weapon for smashing Zombies.

"But I can't linger here too long…" Shawn casually picked up the bag of weapons Rick had left behind.

He glanced at the bottom left corner of his vision; the capsule-shaped icon had already started counting down.

When the countdown reached zero, it would be the moment Shawn was fully infected.

1:55:24

1:54:47

Time was rapidly ticking away, but fortunately, Shawn was now not far from the alley.

With a sweeping motion, he again knocked down the Zombies approaching him, then Shawn turned and climbed up the fire escape.

Standing on the fire escape, sweat continuously seeped from Shawn's pores. Shawn panted heavily and looked back.

"Hmph—You want to bite me that badly? Wait until your next life."

Shawn smiled at the corner of his mouth.

After a burst of catharsis, he felt exceptionally comfortable at this moment.

All the previous discomfort had vanished. The real-life mode was indeed exhilarating; the ancients truly did not deceive me.

Especially after activating the seven days to die system, Shawn finally had new hope for this dark apocalypse.

"But in this situation, where do I find Antibiotics? It's not the first day of the apocalypse, so important supplies have probably already been taken by people nearby…"

Shawn pondered as he continued to climb up the fire escape.

"Wait, people nearby?"

Shawn's eyes lit up.

Speaking of people nearby, Shawn could indeed think of a group of people, and if it was them, they would definitely have Antibiotics.

However, Shawn looked at himself and found it difficult again.

He was only Lv2. Even if he had a bag of guns, he probably wouldn't be able to make that group hand over Antibiotics, and he might even lose the gun bag.

"I can't go alone; I need at least one more person—someone brave enough, who would never retreat, and who would be willing to accompany me on this journey at this time…"

Thinking of this, Shawn couldn't help but quicken his pace, running "thump, thump, thump" towards the rooftop.

Arriving at the rooftop, Shawn saw three Zombies blocking the rooftop iron door. He went up and kicked one over, then swung the Ma Bone Warhammer in his hand down.

"One hammer to stun, one hammer to smash the head. If there's no knife to bleed them out, then another hammer!"

Pfft-- Pfft-- Pfft--!

Three consecutive squelching sounds rang out.

Shawn became increasingly skilled; hammering Zombies seemed no different from hammering pigs or cattle.

Pushing aside the Zombie corpses, Shawn went forward and peered through the crack in the iron door.

He saw Merle, dressed in punk attire, holding a short saw to his own hand, tears and snot streaming down his face in anxiety.

"I never thought Merle would show such an expression. If I had a phone, I should have filmed it to show Daryl."

Shawn secretly snickered.

But to prevent Merle from actually cutting himself, he still shouted loudly through the door crack.

"Hey, is anyone there?"

Startled--!

Merle instantly looked up at the sound, his face filled with disbelief as he stared in the direction of the iron door.

"Someone! I'm here! Save me!!"

"Oh~~ fuck! I'm not dead, I'm not dead!"

Merle was both excitedly shouting at Shawn and looking up at the sky, laughing and crying, like a young baby boy.

If his own brother—'Daryl'—were to see him like this, it would probably become a shadow Merle could never escape from in the latter half of his life.

Shawn swung the Ma Bone Warhammer to break the padlock, then leaned over with a playful expression.

"You just cried?"

Merle cried

Merle's tear stains were still very clear on his face at this moment, and his complexion was rosy due to Shawn's arrival.

"Come on, little brother, if you were in my position, you'd be scared to tears too."

Merle didn't hide it, wiping his tears, shrugging, and sneering.

"True, if I were trapped and could only wait for Zombies to eat me, I wouldn't be any better off than you."

Shawn raised the Ma Bone Warhammer high, signaling Merle to straighten his handcuff.

Crack--

The Ma Bone Warhammer struck directly on the circular part of the pipe it was wrapped around.

Under Shawn's heavy force, the handcuff snapped open, and Merle regained his freedom.

"We'll find a chance to get rid of the half still on your hand later. Let's get out of here first."

Shawn directly tossed the gun bag into Merle's arms, looking around. At this moment, Zombies were slowly approaching, drawn by the sound.
