Entei made a very angry sound. Did this human not know that Entei was very loyal? Did he really think he could find out where Raikou was? No way! Even if Entei jumped off this mountain, he would never betray his brother! Never!
"You really have a line you will not cross, don't you? Fine, I will give you a good ending," Damian said. He moved his eyebrow. He wanted to show respect to a Pokémon like this.
He liked Entei a lot, just like Suicune. Suicune had the strongest link to Ho-Oh, but Ho-Oh also liked Entei very much. After all, Ho-Oh taught Entei how to use Sacred Fire!
"ROAR!"
Entei shouted. Hot, white fire started to burn around its body. This was a special move that only Ho-Oh and Entei could learn. It was called Sacred Fire! But Ho-Oh's fire had many colors, and Entei's fire was pure white.
The white fire moved fast toward Armored Mewtwo. Armored Mewtwo did not move at all. A dark purple wall appeared to protect it.

Caitlin felt very jealous when she saw this. She had asked Armored Mewtwo about it before. This wall was not a normal move. It was made by controlling psychic power. Armored Mewtwo used its great power to change the move Protect. This made a special move for both attacking and defending.
To do this, the user needed a lot of psychic power. It had to be very strong and there had to be a lot of it. This wall was great for defense, but it could do more! Armored Mewtwo could keep the wall up and run into enemies to hurt them!
This made Caitlin sad. She wanted this wall, but only Tapu Lele could try to learn it. Even then, Caitlin had to give her own psychic power to Tapu Lele. If they did it, Tapu Lele would get very tired and fall down after only five minutes. It was not good for real battles. It was better for Tapu Lele to use a normal Protect move because it used less energy.
Armored Mewtwo could teach itself these things because it was already one of the strongest Pokémon in the world. It was almost as strong as legendary Pokémon like Ho-Oh. The psychic power in its body was like a huge ocean. Other Pokémon did not have that much power. It was a gap that no one could cross.
Tapu Lele was very jealous after learning this. That night, it was so angry that it took an entire table of small shares.
When the Sacred Fire attack finished, Entei looked very serious. Armored Mewtwo was not hurt at all. This enemy was truly very strong! Now Entei knew why Suicune lost.
Should I run away? Entei was not sure. It knew it could not win this fight. If it stayed, it might be in danger. That human wanted to catch it. But running away felt wrong. Suicune was still inside that Poké Ball and needed help.
"What is wrong? Entei, are you giving up? Don't you want to save your friend anymore? It seems the legendary Entei also bullies weak ones and is afraid of strong ones," Damian said with a smirk. He saw that Entei had stopped attacking.
Entei was a very hot-headed Pokémon. It could not stand someone saying that!
"ROAR!!"
Entei ran straight at Armored Mewtwo using Flare Blitz. Very hot fire covered its whole body. It looked very powerful! Because it was in a corner, Entei felt extra strong! This was likely the most powerful Flare Blitz it had ever used! It would win! It had to save Suicune!
And then...
"Not bad. I caught an Entei too."
Damian was very happy as he looked at the Ultra Ball in his hand. His luck was great. "I wonder if Raikou will feel that Suicune and Entei had an 'accident' and run here to save them?" Damian thought.
Far away, a Pokémon as fast as lightning was running toward them! It was the legendary Raikou. It was nearby at that time.
In a volcano in the Kanto region, hot lava moved. Inside the lava, a big, colorful bird was resting comfortably. A bird's life was very long. It usually spent its time resting like this.
But suddenly, the bird opened its eyes. It was shocked and confused.
"Strange."
Ho-Oh was confused. It felt the energy of Suicune and Entei disappear. It had sent them to watch the boy with the Pikachu. Why were they gone?
A little while later...
"How did Raikou's energy disappear too?!"
Ho-Oh could not stay still. It only had three guards. Marshadow was just a helper. It was shy, so it only worked if someone forced it. But Suicune and the others were raised by Ho-Oh. They were true friends!
The guards were not its slaves. Ho-Oh was not a mean bird. If the guards found a good human trainer, Ho-Oh would be happy for them. Humans only lived for a hundred years. After that, the guards would come back to Ho-Oh anyway.
But this was not normal. They all "vanished" in a very short time. This was wrong.
"Who is bullying my guards!"
Ho-Oh could not wait anymore. The hot lava moved, and the old volcano exploded. A huge bird Pokémon with rainbow light flew out. It went toward the city.
How could they! Someone took all its guards at once? This was like an insult to Ho-Oh. It had to see what was happening. If a human stole Suicune and the others, Ho-Oh would punish them! It hated greedy humans the most.
"Another one."
Damian made a sound with his tongue. He looked at the three Ultra Balls in his hand. He was right. Raikou had come to save the others. It was like one rescue after another.
Erika: (○.○) Erika could not say anything. She felt like the legendary Ho-Oh Guards were not very smart...
"Congratulations, Damian. You have three more main team members," Caitlin said with a big smile. She was happy for him. If these three legends were trained well, they would be very important for Damian's team.
"Thanks. But I don't plan to train all of them," Damian answered with a smile.
"Oh? You don't plan to train them?" Erika was surprised. What did he mean? Why catch them if he was not going to train them?
Erika had many Grass-type Pokémon at her Gym. But she was a Gym Leader. She had to fight many trainers. She used different Pokémon for new trainers. But Damian was not a Gym Leader.
"I mostly wanted to see if that Pokémon would come here because I caught them," Damian said. "Personally, I only like Suicune and Entei. If I have to choose between the two, I would probably pick Suicune."
Suicune's name was hurt in a show called Pokémon Journeys, but Damian liked how it looked. Entei was good too. Damian liked Entei since he saw its movie. Raikou was just an extra Pokémon he got.
Then Damian said, "But none of them are as good as Walking Wake."
"What kind of Pokémon is Walking Wake?" Erika asked. She did not know that name.
"A very special Pokémon. I will let you see it if we have a chance in the future." Walking Wake was an old relative of Suicune. It was a Water and Dragon type. It looked very cool and beautiful, which Damian liked.
"Oh, okay." Erika wanted to know more, but she did not ask.
After taking the Ho-Oh Guards, the three friends went to a grassy area to eat. Erika cooked the food. She was a polite young lady, but she was good at many things.
While they were eating, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky.
"CHIRP~!"
A loud sound came from far away.
"Hmm?" Caitlin looked up. The rainbow was pretty, but the sound worried her. Was she just imagining it?
"Damian, a very strong Pokémon is coming."
Armored Mewtwo stood up. It looked at the sky. The purple fire in its eyes moved quickly. It could feel it! A very strong and hot energy was coming fast! It knew this energy. It was the same energy it felt from the boy named Ash before.
"It seems the Photographer really cares about his helpers," Damian said quietly. He wiped his mouth and stood up.
It made sense. Ho-Oh was a good legendary Pokémon. It wanted humans and Pokémon to trust each other. That is why it looked for humans with good hearts. In stories, its Rainbow Wing could tell if a person was good or evil.
Caitlin and Erika saw that Damian and Mewtwo were moving. They knew something was wrong and packed their things quickly.
"CHIRP~!"
Another long sound filled the air. Above the rainbow, a beautiful bird was flying toward them. Its wings were moving.
"So beautiful..." Erika said. She was amazed. It had gold and rainbow light on it. With the rainbow behind it, the bird looked holy and noble. It was very bright.
"Tsk~ it really looks good," Damian said. He liked it. From far away, Ho-Oh looked like a god. It was very beautiful.
"Up close, Ho-Oh really did look like a giant turkey."
