Chapter 2 - Types Of Energy

Before delving into magic and abilities, we must establish the foundations of the world: Energy Sources. In this world, energy is the pulse of the universe, and it is classified into several distinct categories, each with its own physics and philosophical nature.

(Types of Energy)

0. Aether (The Primordial Source)

* Concept: This element has been oversimplified in many tales; therefore, I have redefined it as the "Root of Energy ."

* Nature: Aether is the neutral, primal energy from which all natural energies (except Corrupted Mana) are derived.

* The Progenitors: The Original Asterions (Primordial and Legendary constellations) were born with an innate ability to manipulate Aether.

* Constraints: It is impossible for humans to form a Dantian for Aether. It can only be accessed by humans in anomalous cases, such as constructing a separate Dantian for every type of Mana and Prana.

* Usage: While rare, some extraordinary individuals can use it in specific high-level skills. It is also the fundamental source of Runic Magic.

1. Mana / Internal Energy

* Nature: The base Mana or Qi as known in Murim concepts.

* Accessibility: It is available to everyone and serves as the primary energy for both Warriors and Wizards.

* Attributes: Neutral with no inherent elemental traits.

2. Dark Mana

This energy is utilized in three distinct branches: Dark Magic, Black Magic, and Void Magic. Unlike its common shallow depictions, it is divided here into two types:

* Natural Dark Mana: Used by those born with the "Dark Magic" attribute. They can convert regular Mana into Dark Mana naturally without any negative side effects on the body or mind.

* Synthetic Dark Mana: Used by those without the innate attribute, primarily Black Mages. They darken their Mana artificially.

* Pure Synthetic: If a mage reaches a masterful level of refinement, it becomes as pure as natural Dark Mana and does not affect the mind.

* Polluted Synthetic: If the refinement is flawed, it becomes "Ominous" and similar to Demonic Mana, causing gradual mental instability in the user.

3. Death Mana / Death Qi

* Origin: Generated on battlefields and massacre sites through the deaths of warriors during combat.

* Essence: It radiates a sense of "Sorrowful Ominousness" rather than pure malice.

* Appearance: Heavy and mournful. Unlike natural Dark Mana, which can be radiant and dazzling, Death Mana is dense and dim.

* Acquisition: It cannot be gathered through normal breathing or environmental absorption. It requires forbidden techniques to collect and store in an additional, specialized Dantian.

* Mechanics: Users of forbidden arts can absorb energy from another person's Dantian, which naturally converts into Death Mana.

* Density: One atom of Death Mana equals the density of 2.5 atoms of regular Mana, allowing its users to gain overwhelming power at a terrifying speed.

4. Corrupted Mana

* Nature: A repulsive and distorted energy that cannot be used by any normal being. It is often the byproduct of sinister magical experiments.

* Manifestations:

* Jiangshi (Murim): Reanimated corpses moved by muscle memory and infused energy through dark medical arts.

* Human Ghouls: Humans near death in highly polluted areas. They turn into zombie-like creatures—alive but devoid of mind or pain, with bodies evolved to rival the strength of monsters.

* Corrupted Monsters: The most dangerous tier. Unlike humans, monsters do not necessarily lose their minds when corrupted due to their different psychological structure, making them intelligent and lethal.

5. Demonic Mana

* Essence: Pure terror and malice, born from the evil desires and selfish cravings of True Demons.

* Users: Demons are born with this energy. Humans can only access it through two paths: making a Contract with a Demon or practicing Cheonma Arts (The Heavenly Demon Arts).

6. Prana

* Color: Green.

* Users: Spiritualists and Healers.

* Distinction: Different from Golden Prana. Its Dantian is located in the Head, connecting it to the spirit and consciousness.

7. Golden Prana ( Holy Power)

* Color: Radiant Gold.

* Users: Paladins and Holy Healers.

* Nature: Associated with the attribute of "Light," though the user does not necessarily need the Light attribute to wield it.

* Location: Its Dantian is located in the Center of the Chest .
