Almost in the blink of an eye, the cave had transformed into a perfect winter nest.
Outside, icy winds howled and snow fell thick and fast. Inside, it felt warm and cozy, like spring.
The two big cats flanked Fuyuki in the middle.
Suicune lay off to the side, watching the scene with a complicated expression.
Marshadow remained within the shadow world, looking as though it was already completely used to this sort of thing.

Staring at his handiwork, Fuyuki felt like he was playing an Animal Crossing game that had somehow merged with Pokemon.
In an environment like this, should he add a fireplace too?
That way, even when Entei went out, the Secret Base would stay warm.

"Marshadow, come out!" Fuyuki called toward his shadow.
A moment later, a Pokemon larger than him slowly emerged from the darkness.
"Marsh…"
"I made all this food for everyone. Entei, Raikou, Marshadow, and Suicune, come try it!" Fuyuki called out with a big smile.
The Pokemon froze in place.
Seeing this, Fuyuki felt puzzled. He grabbed their paws and tugged them toward the table.
"Come on, let's eat!"
Entei followed him to the dining table. It looked at the spread of food but didn't start eating right away. Instead, it lowered its head and licked Fuyuki.
"This must have taken a lot of your power," it said quietly.
"It's fine! I can earn it back later. And look, Entei, this place really feels like a home now!" Fuyuki said excitedly.

Raikou, Marshadow, and Suicune all looked over.
Entei paused, gazing at the bright-eyed human child in front of it, then spoke softly.
"Yes. It's our home."
