Caelan nodded speechlessly. Then, with a wave of his hand, he simply agreed.
Back in the Beta Sector, he had indeed failed to properly protect Avril. So it was understandable for her to be angry.
If inviting her to the World of Myriad Races could ease the relationship between them, then Caelan felt that it was not that big of a deal.
After chatting idly with Wesker for a few more moments, Caelan arrived outside Avril's hospital room.
Knock, knock, knock!
The door was knocked.
The next instant, Avril's impatient voice came from inside the room.
"Who is it? What do you want?"
Standing outside the door, Wesker spoke in a gentle voice.
"Avril, Lord Caelan has specially come to visit you!"
The sound inside the room instantly fell into a strange silence.
After a full three minutes, the previous energetic voice vanished. Replacing it was a weak and feeble voice.
