The next morning she slowly got up and left. Before leaving she tucked him into the bed. On her way out she met Lucas who smiled at her. She ignored him and went on her way. Seeing her indifference Lucas slightly frowned.
Alicia ignored him she knew involvement with him will only bring chaos. She had much more important businesses to attend.The money from all her assets was already transfered to her account. She went the supermarket and asked for the manager. She talked to him and decided to give the order to him. She ordered daily necessities such as soaps, shampoo, towels, toilet paper, etc. She took his phone number and told him that she will order the others things on the phone.
She searched around the supermarket when she saw a pharmacy. She noted it down. Then came the food area. She saw through the shelves when her eyes saw a honey jar she had an idea. If she could grow her own trees maybe she could also grow meat. She hurriedly drove off to the wholesale market.
In the market she found all kinds of animals on sale. She bought chickens, ducks, goats sheep and cows. She took them to a corner and put them into a space. Then she bought few fences and tools to set them up. She also ordered few honey boxes and bees. Then she saw fish. She bought a few fry of each type of fish, shrimp and shells. After buying everything she went ahead and bought a large shovel. Then she entered her space. The sunflower already showed signs of seeds. She went and started digging a small pond. After completion she connected it to the stream. She let the fishes into the small pond. She planned to make the pond bigger when the machines arrive. She started building a fence. After finishing it she left the bigger animals in their respective positions. She let the birds roam around freely.
When she came out she saw the sun setting. On the way she took a quick trip to a supermarket again. She searched the selves and started to note again. She didn't know how long her crops would take to grow so she needed to prepare. While seeing she found she had missed mushrooms.
She found the manager of the store and ordered staple items like rice of each kind a 1000 kilos each, oils, spices, salt and sugar. She also ordered instant items like noodles, ricepaper, seaweed, biscuits, sauces, pickles, etc. She also ordered meat and live seafood. She asked him to deliver them in the warehouse.
Then she called the seed shop and asked for mushroom spores and detailed growing tips. She also for the list of mushrooms and sea food. Then she sat in the car and searched for other mushrooms types their growing process and ordered spores. She ordered live seafood of all kind.
When she returned home laughter could be heard from outside. So she entered and found the whole family gathered and there was an addition. Alicia looked at him smiling at her so called parents. She stood still there and watched them. She was disappointed. She saw him let her brother flirt with himself. It was Allister. She clenched her fist and slowly left for her room.
After entering the room she looked towards the balcony. She went there and sat there. It wasn't that she was expecting something but it still hurt. She laid down on the recliner and watched the stars. A wave of disappointment had slowly covered her mind when she saw them together. She questioned herself, "Why am I doing all this? Is this all worth it? "
She fell asleep slowly. Unknowingly a weight was added on her chest. After sometime she felt cold. When she tried to wake up she found someone lying on her chest. It was Allister. She stood up holding him. While she was wearing her sleepers two hands caught her neck. She turned to face him directly. Their eyes met.
She found his eyes pretty,sculped and brown.
