Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 : Uncovering Drugs Network

When I arrived home, the evening light had already begun to stretch across the driveway, painting long shadows over the front lawn. The Bentley was parked near the entrance, and Alfred was already at work, moving with his usual mechanical efficiency as he helped Seojun unload his luggage.

Seojun stood beside him, holding a bag tightly with stiff posture. This was probably the first real house he had entered in years that didn't feel temporary.

My mother came out just then, wiping her hands on a cloth. Her eyes shifted from Seojun to Seohee—and widened slightly when she recognized her.

It took her a moment.

I had told her Seohee's story before, but only in fragments. She hadn't realized this was the same girl she had met earlier at the school when she went to apologize for the "old" Choyun's behavior.

The realization made the air awkward for a few seconds.

Seohee bowed slightly.

"Hello, ma'am."

My mother hesitated, then smiled warmly.

"I remember you," she said. "You've grown a lot since then and don't call me ma'am just call me mom ."

" Yes m..mom"

Saying this in low voice Seohee looked away slightly embarrassed.

The tension faded quickly as Alfred finished unloading the luggage and carried it inside.

Once we entered the house, I turned to Alfred.

"Clear out two rooms on the second floor."

"Yes, Young Master."

The entire second floor belonged to me. I had already customized it with a study, a private gym section, and a gaming room. Keeping Seohee and Seojun close would make managing Constellation far more efficient.

By 4:00 PM, the house had settled.

Seojun and Seohee finished arranging their rooms with my mother's help, while Alfred handled the heavier furniture. When everything was done, I called both of them into my study.

They sat across from me, attentive.

"I have missions for both of you," I said, leaning back in my chair.

Seohee's eyes sharpened immediately.

"What is it?"

"Seohee," I said, "I want you to scout locations in Gangbuk. We need a permanent headquarters. Somewhere central, and discreet ."

She nodded without hesitation.

" One more thing Don't clash with God dog , they aren't something we can handle now atleast their leader " I said

Then I turned to Seojun.

"Your task is simpler but just as important. Find a middle-school boy named Dowoon Lee. Light brown hair. Track him down and observe him."

Seojun stiffened slightly, then nodded.

"I'll do it."

With the home situation stabilized, I changed into black pants and a hoodie, grabbed my helmet, and headed for the garage.

Time to see how far Grandpa's preparations have gone.

The Grandfather's Office

The engine of the BMW S1000RR quieted as I stopped in front of my grandfather's party office. Campaign banners covered the building's exterior, and volunteers moved in and out with clipboards and phones.

I walked past them without stopping and entered the inner office.

"Choyun?" my grandfather asked, looking up from a pile of documents. "What brings you here?"

"Just checking in," I replied. "How are the election preparations?"

He leaned back slightly.

"Better than expected. We secured a major sponsor—someone willing to provide long-term funding."

He paused, studying me.

"But I've also heard rumors about you. Word reached me that you've taken control of nearly every club and bar in North Gangbuk."

"It's just the beginning of my business empire," I replied calmly.

As we spoke, my eyes drifted to a file lying open on his desk.

A drug case.

"What's that?" I asked.

He sighed.

"The South side of Gangbuk has seen a surge in dealing. We caught a distributor, but the network runs deep."

"I want to meet him," I said.

My grandfather looked surprised.

"That's not someone you need to—"

"I'll handle it," I said.

After a brief pause, he nodded. He made a call to the station and instructed his secretary to escort me.

The Police Station

The station smelled of disinfectant and cold tile. The officers were polite but firm.

"We can only allow you for Two minutes," one said.

" That's enough for me " I said then I was led into a small interrogation room with a thick glass partition. On the other side sat the dealer—a thin man with hollow eyes, clearly running on paranoia.

"Who are you?" he muttered. " Do I know you?"

I picked up the receiver.

System. Activate Silver Tongue.

The weight of the card's effect pressed through the glass.

"No , and you don't need to know me Just Tell me your connections," I said calmly. "Who supplies you, and where's the hub?"

His resistance collapsed instantly.

Names spilled out. Locations. Storage points. Routes.

I hung up and left.

The North Gangbuk Godown

I rode straight to one of the locations he mentioned—a rundown warehouse hidden behind an industrial block.

Four goons stepped out as I approached near .

They never reached their weapons.

I moved fast.

A Fa Jin strike folded the first one instantly. I grabbed another and slammed him into the brick wall using his own momentum. The rest fell just as quickly.

As I stepped into the warehouse. The air was thick with the smell of grease and cold metal. The boss sat 15 meters away, a smirk on his face and a cigarette between his teeth.

"Do you think I would just have 4 people to guard here?" he said, exhaling a cloud of smoke. "I don't know how you got the location or who you are, but today you made a mistake. Kill this bastard and tell him what mistake he committed coming here."

The overhead lights roared to life, flooded with a harsh white glare. The floor was crowded. Over 50 men stood in the shadows, armed with pipes, chains, and brass knuckles.

' What the ...'

I took a breath and shifted my weight.

The first wave charged. I didn't wait. I launched a Tornado Kick, my shoe catching the first man's jaw mid-sprint.

CRACK.

His teeth sprayed across the concrete. I landed and immediately executed a Low Kick, snapping the lead leg of the next man. He hit the ground screaming. I ducked under a pipe swing and delivered a Jumping Back-Kick into a thug's chest.

THUD.

The impact sent him flying back into three others, knocking them down like pins. I moved through the crowd. Roundhouse Kick to a temple. Axe Kick to a shoulder. Hook Kick to a neck. Bones snapped in rapid succession. I was faster than their eyes could follow.

Three massive men in tactical vests stepped forward, pushing the smaller thugs aside. They were the elites.

The first one lunged with a reinforced baton. I caught his wrist, neutralizing the swing. I stepped into his personal space and pressed my open palm against his stomach.

Fa Jin.

BOOM.

The internal shockwave erupted. He was launched ten feet backward, his body slamming into a steel shipping container with a heavy dent. He slid to the floor. A massive spray of dark, thick blood erupted from his mouth, staining his chin. He didn't move again.

The second elite tried to grapple me. I drove a Knee Kick into his ribs and followed up with a palm strike to his solar plexus.

He collapsed, gasping for air that wouldn't come, blood leaking from his nose.

The third elite hesitated. I launched a Flying Side Kick, my heel burying into his throat. He hit the ground and stayed there.

The remaining 40 goons backed away, their pipes trembling. I walked toward the boss, stepping over the bodies. I straightened my jacket and adjusted my cuffs.

The boss dropped his cigarette. His smirk was gone.

I stood five meters away.

"Now Tell me From where do you receive and supply the drugs?" I asked, activating Silver Tongue again.

His eyes glazed over.

"South Gangbuk… and a few central hubs…

It's supplied illegally from Japan."

"Take me to the godowns where you stored them," I ordered.
