POV: Jay
I've been sleeping every chance I get.
In class.
In the car
During study period.
If there's a flat surface, I'm using it.
Today was no different.
By the end of school, my brain felt like mashed potatoes.
Before heading home, I decided to stop by the washroom.
Cold water on my face.
Reset.
Breathe.
When I stepped back into the hallway, my phone rang.
I glanced at the screen.
Blue Eyes.
I paused.
"…Not Blue Eyes," I muttered to myself. "Percy."
I corrected it quickly in my head and answered.
"Hello?"
"Jay!" Percy's voice boomed through the phone. "Do you know how many girls looked at me today? I swear it's a curse being this handsome."
I rolled my eyes instantly.
"Hi to you too."
"I walked past the cafeteria window and I saw my reflection. Even I was impressed."
"Percy—"
"And my jawline today? Perfect lighting. I don't choose this life. This life chooses me."
"Percy."
"I should start charging people just to look at me."
"PERCY."
Not screaming screaming.
But loud enough.
Medium shouting.
He went silent.
"…Why are you yelling?" he complained. "My ears exist, you know."
"You wouldn't let me talk!"
"You talk a lot."
"I literally said one word!"
Before he could argue back—
Something fell behind me.
A loud clatter.
I turned.
And froze.
Yuri.
Keifer.
Felix.
Endrix.
And at least half of the section boys.
Staring at me.
Or more specifically—
At my phone.
"…Keifer?" I blinked. "What's wrong?"
On the line, Percy went quiet.
"…Keifer?" he repeated.
And then—
The call ended.
Beep.
Silence.
Felix stepped forward slowly.
His eyes were watery.
His voice shaky.
"Wh… who… we… were you talking to?"
I frowned.
"Oh. I was talking to a friend. Percy."
Silence.
The kind that isn't normal.
The kind where everyone looks at each other.
Like something just exploded
Now we were all at Felix's place.
Which I did not agree to.
But somehow ended up here anyway.
We were sitting on the couch.
Waiting.
Felix disappeared into his room.
I looked around.
"Why did everyone freeze when I said Percy?"
No one answered.
Felix came back holding an old photo album.
He sat beside me.
Too serious.
"Jay… are you sure you were talking to Percy?"
"Yes?"
He opened the album.
Flipped through pages quickly.
Then stopped.
He pointed to a picture.
"Is that the Percy you know?"
I leaned closer.
The picture showed a boy with familiar eyes.
That same confident smirk.
"Yes. That's him."
Felix turned another page.
This one had a photo of Keifer, Yuri, Aries…
And Percy.
Together.
Younger.
Smiling.
I looked up slowly.
"You guys know Percy?"
Yuri nodded.
Felix swallowed.
"He's my brother."
I was drinking juice.
I choked.
Violently.
Coughing.
Felix panicked and handed me tissues.
"You okay?!"
"He's your WHAT?"
"My brother," Felix repeated quietly.
Keifer spoke next.
"We all thought Percy was dead."
The room tilted slightly.
"What does that mean?" I stared at them. "I've been talking to a ghost? Is that why he disappears when people come around?!"
David immediately shook his head.
"No, Jay. That means he's alive."
Felix looked hurt.
"Then why didn't he contact me? But he contacted you?"
That one hit.
I frowned.
"Yeah… at least he should contact his brother."
Keifer looked at me carefully.
"When did you two meet?"
"Oh," I said casually. "The day we went to pick your mom and Keiren up."
Ci-N gasped dramatically.
"You guys went to the airport without me?!"
Keifer turned slowly to look at him.
Ci-N shrank back into silence.
Priorities.
Felix leaned forward.
"Jay… can you call him? Now?"
I hesitated.
"…Sure. I guess."
I pulled out my phone and called Percy.
It rang.
And rang.
No answer.
I was about to call again when—
My phone lit up.
Percy calling.
"He's calling," I said.
Keifer immediately straightened.
"Pick up. Everyone be quiet."
The room went dead silent.
I answered.
"Percy. Why did you end the call?"
"It was an accident," he replied smoothly. "My fingers are too powerful."
"…Right."
"Why are you whispering?"
"I'm not."
I took a breath.
"Percy… do you have any siblings?"
Silence.
Longer this time.
"…Yes," he said finally. "I have three siblings. One brother and two sisters."
Felix looked confused instantly.
I continued carefully.
"What are their names?"
"Why are you asking all of a sudden?" Percy asked suspiciously.
"Oh, just asking."
Another pause.
"Okay… I have my younger brother Felix Collins."
I blinked.
"My mate Felix?"
"Yeah."
The room felt like it stopped breathing.
"Then I have my sister Dahlia," Percy continued.
"And my other sister is—"
He stopped.
"JayJay… I miss my siblings."
His voice softened.
Something in it changed.
"Then why don't you go see them?" I asked gently.
"Very soon," he said. "Very soon."
"…Oh. Okay."
I was about to end the call when Percy added—
"Tell Felix someone special says hi."
And the line disconnected.
I slowly lowered the phone.
Turned.
Everyone was staring at me.
Shocked.
Confused.
Yuri spoke first.
"Percy has two sisters?"
Felix shook his head.
"That's impossible. I don't have two sisters. How would I not know?"
The room spiraled into quiet tension.
I looked at them.
Then sighed.
"Don't worry. I know him. He might have a reason."
But even as I said it—
A chill ran down my spine.
Because Percy never mentioned hiding.
He never mentioned pretending.
And yet—
He knew Felix.
He knew them all.
And he chose to talk to me.
Jay's inner thought:
Why would someone fake their own death? And why would they come back… but only speak to me?
