I drearily woke up due to the sunlight hitting my face only to spot my father going through my clothes. It seemed like he was up to something. Maybe looking for my money to go gambling again. I stealthily got out of bed and approached him from behind." Where did my bratty son hide that money? He isn't smart enough to put it anywhere besides here," he said unaware of my existence.
" Wow, how low of an opinion you have on you own son father. Just for your information, my money is in a place where you cannot get it so just quit it," I said.
" How dare you. You owe me for raising you all these years," he said in a fit of anger.

He raised my rank to D according to their assessment of my previous achievements. I smiled at the simple victory and was about to ask for a mission/ quest when a man flew out of one of the rooms upstairs and summersault landed right in front of me." Are you him?" he asked.
" Are you who? What is going on right now? Who even are you?" I asked completely puzzled.
" Oh sorry for the late introduction. I'm Nicholas the harbinger and I'm the guild master here and that is all you need to hear from me. I would like for you to follow me to my office please. I have a few things to discuss with you mister Paladin," he said smoothly and oddly enough convincing too.
This guy took eccentric to a whole new level but he seemed trustworthy enough so I went along with him. He led me upstairs to his office which had it's doors in shambles due to the whole jumping through the door earlier but it did not matter now. I sat on a sofa opposite to his desk where he sat behind of and waited for him to start." So, mister Paladin, mind telling me your name?" Nicholas asked.
" The name's Lucas Brine," I answered.
" Good to hear Lucas. I want you to take on a specific quest but it is a rank B quest. Do you think you can agree to that," Nicholas said.
" It depends on whether it is a quest I can actually do," I said.
" I want you to deal with the fright mare in the iron mine. It has caused help for our top at adventure team which have lost to put twice now. Ain't that right ladies," Nicholas said looking at his broken door.
The girls that I met yesterday in the meadow walked through those doors with nervous expressions. One look at them raised my hairs to their ends and I decided to look back at Nicholas for fear of my anger problems." These ladies are from my top adventurer party. That fright mare has brought them to their knees constantly and if the mine isn't reclaimed soon, the town's profits will drop. So will you do it," said Nicholas.
The leader of the party laughed and said," If we could not take it down what makes you think you have a chance at winning against it."
" How am I expected to deal with the fright mare?" I asked in a fit of small rage.
" Do as you wish. It all comes down to what you decided paladin," said Nicholas very pleased with himself.
" Good to hear guild master. I will be back within the hour as long as there is no interference," I said getting up.
" Heard that ladies, I don't want any of you at the scene. Is that understood?" Nicholas ordered.
" Yes guild master," said the ladies in tandom.
I smirked at the sound of that." Let me deal with something a few ladies couldn't as a group," I said gaslighting the ladies.
They immediately tried attacking me but the guild master emitted a menacing killing intent that put both them and I in a docile state." You better not be found in the visinity. You don't want to know what I will do to you," warned Nicholas.
The ladies stood at attention on the wall in complete fear. I was honestly shaken by that. Is that how my father felt when I used my intimidation skill on him, damn. I took off and jumped to the ground floor. I was out the door within ten seconds of leaving the room. Once I was out there, I called out the spear but the slimes were totally shaken by that experience. I guess it makes sense since they were kids, so scaring them must have been easy. I spent ten minutes trying to calm them down first and to reassure them. Then I flew to the mine at top speed since I gave myself a time restriction.
