Jindai helped Kakashi leave the tent and, guided by Kakashi, headed towards Lady Tsunade's tent.
The journey was quite short; Kakashi said they had arrived not long after they started walking.
Kakashi weakly called out, "Lady Tsunade, Chunin Kakashi Hatake has something to report!"
However, Kakashi's voice was too soft, and there was no movement inside the tent; the person inside seemed not to have heard him.
Kakashi coughed and called out again, but still, there was no response.
Jindai couldn't stand it anymore and yelled at the top of his lungs, "Lady Tsunade! I am Jindai, a member of the Minato Team, and I have something to report to Lady Tsunade!"
A few seconds after Jindai's voice fell, the tent flap opened.
"Holy crap! So big!"
Due to Jindai's height, he couldn't see her face at first glance and instead saw what he shouldn't have.
Suddenly, Jindai felt a hint of killing intent.
Jindai looked up and saw a vein bulging on Lady Tsunade's forehead, as she looked at Jindai with annoyance, "What did you just say?"
Jindai felt a chill run from his spine straight to his head, shivered, and immediately retorted, "Uh... I said Lady Tsunade's physique is tall and magnificent, truly worthy of being one of the Leafs Sannin!"
With a "Duang" sound.
Jindai squatted on the ground, desperately rubbing the large bump that had swelled on his head, tears of pain welling in his eyes.
Lady Tsunade blew on her fist and said disdainfully, "Brat, next time it won't just be a bump on your head!"
Kakashi, having been released by Jindai, swayed unsteadily, as if he might fall to the ground at any moment.
Lady Tsunade looked at Kakashi's pale face and the blood seeping through the bandages on his body, frowned, and her tightly clenched fists trembled slightly.
Just as Kakashi was about to fall, Lady Tsunade reached out and grabbed the back of Kakashi's collar, pulling him into the tent.
Jindai rubbed the bump on his head, and once it didn't hurt as much, he shamelessly entered the tent as well.
Kakashi was placed on a small bed by Lady Tsunade, and a black cloth covered Kakashi's body, concealing the blood.
Then Lady Tsunade performed Medical Ninjutsu on Kakashi for treatment.
During the treatment, Kakashi reported to Lady Tsunade, "Lady Tsunade, when we were previously monitoring the Cloud Ninja Outpost, we discovered that they plan to attack our Konoha Garrison in an hour.
Kumogakure should have already started moving towards here. I sent my Ninja dog back to the Konoha Garrison to report. I wonder if Lord Jiraiya and Orochimaru have already received the intelligence?"
Lady Tsunade told Kakashi, "You don't need to worry about this. Jiraiya and Orochimaru have already received the intelligence and have already led people away from the Konoha Garrison. They had already set up an ambush beforehand, so even without your intelligence, nothing would have happened."
Upon hearing Lady Tsunade say this, Jindai immediately became displeased and grumbled, "What? If it's not important, why did you make us go monitor them? This is just pointless and redundant!"
Lady Tsunade and Kakashi both looked at Jindai simultaneously.
Jindai felt their gazes were quite piercing, so he shrunk his head and quietly said, "I'll shut up now."
After a while, Lady Tsunade stopped her Medical Ninjutsu and said to Kakashi, "I've basically treated your injuries with Mystical Palm Technique, but you've lost a bit too much blood, so you'll need to rest for a while."
Jindai excitedly pumped his fist, "Rest for a while? Yeah! That's great!"
Lady Tsunade and Kakashi's gazes once again turned to Jindai.
Lady Tsunade's gaze towards Jindai became increasingly dangerous as she asked Kakashi, "Is this brat from Hidden Sand Village always so annoying?"
Kakashi nodded and replied, "Hmm, I suppose so."
Jindai became anxious and immediately retorted, "Hey, Kakashi, how can you say that? Who went through all that trouble to rescue you from the enemy and help you escape? It was me!"
Lady Tsunade scrutinized Jindai, her eyes filled with interest, "Oh? Kakashi was severely injured, and you saved Kakashi? Does that mean your strength is greater than Kakashi's?"
Jindai immediately wilted and chuckled, "Not at all. I just said I helped Kakashi and them escape. I seized the moment when Kumogakure was careless, carried Kakashi on my back, and ran, that's how I saved Kakashi."
Lady Tsunade narrowed her eyes as she looked at Jindai.
She had already heard about Jindai from Jiraiya.
So Lady Tsunade knew that Jindai was a small undercover agent and that his strength was greater than Kakashi's.
Lady Tsunade glanced at Kakashi, who subtly shook his head towards her, and Lady Tsunade immediately understood.
Lady Tsunade scoffed, "So he's just a brat who only knows how to run away, how boring. Alright, help Kakashi leave."
Jindai obediently walked over to Kakashi's side, glared fiercely at Kakashi, and then helped Kakashi up and left Lady Tsunade's tent.
...
Five kilometers outside the Konoha Garrison.
Jiraiya and Orochimaru stood together, waiting for Kumogakure to deliver themselves.
When Jindai and his team left to monitor the Cloud Ninja Outpost, Orochimaru had already arranged for many Ninja to set up an ambush, and also placed sensory Ninja in very concealed locations for constant observation.
Just as Lady Tsunade said, even without Kakashi's intelligence, the Konoha Garrison would be fine.
The reason why Kakashi and his team were told to continue observing was primarily to see if Kumogakure had any other movements.
After all, the speculation that Kumogakure would launch a sneak attack on the Konoha Garrison was based only on the map Jindai had seen, and it was not a confirmed fact.
Jiraiya looked at the dark forest and said, "According to the intelligence brought by Kakashi's Ninja dog, Kumogakure should be arriving soon."
As soon as Jiraiya finished speaking, a Ninja ran over and reported to Jiraiya and Orochimaru, "Lord Orochimaru, Lord Jiraiya, we've found something! A large number of unknown personnel have appeared in front of our ambush positions."
Orochimaru's lips curved into a cruel smile, "Don't act rashly. Once they enter the designated location, act immediately. No prisoners are needed; just kill them all!"
The reporting Ninja's expression clearly changed; he looked at Orochimaru with some fear, then immediately lowered his head, "Yes!"
Jiraiya asked, "Are you really not going to leave a few alive for intelligence?"
Orochimaru coldly said, "There's no point. These Ninja surely don't possess much intelligence about Hidden Cloud Village; at most, they'd know a few of Hidden Cloud Village's strongholds in the Land of Hot Springs. Killing them all and throwing their bodies in front of them is what will make them feel pain, that's what's meaningful. After intimidating them like this, Kumogakure won't dare to act rashly."
Jiraiya raised an eyebrow. Although he knew Orochimaru's command was correct, he still felt a bit uncomfortable with Orochimaru's cruel approach.
So Jiraiya also stopped talking, awaiting the outcome of the battle.
