Julian stared at the mangled body of the Goblin, only then did his heightened emotions start subsiding.
When he finally snapped out of it, his eyes narrowed. 'This is bad!'
'I can't afford to keep losing my emotions in every battle'.
Despite the Goblin Boss being 12 levels higher than him, the sheer advantage given by his dual bloodlines managed to make the battle even but Julian knew that not all battles would continue like this.
For his level, he was OP but the problem was that he had extremely powerful enemies. Some of the strongest Awakened in this world were his enemies.
Against them, he won't have the same advantage and though letting his emotions loose could strengthen him through Sin Catalyst, Julian did not believe that it was a good trade in exchange for his rationality and smart thinking.
He frowned. 'This is a flaw and I need to take care of it'.
The book that he read in the library said out of all the races, the Dragon Race was the only race with no weaknesses but now Julian realized that their weakness was their arrogance.
His frown deepened. 'I need to learn to control my emotions and pride before facing my main enemies in this world'.
'As for Sin Catalyst, instead of losing control every time in exchange for power, learning to control my emotions to switch it on and off is better'.
In that moment, Julian realized that apart from practicing debauchery to gain EXP, level up and get stronger, he also needed to rein in his emotions so that his very own powers would not end up killing him just like Zaratul.
Julian took a deep breath and observed the Goblin Nest, taking in the destruction that he singlehandedly caused here.
He raised his fist and looked at it.
The moment he woke up in this world, he knew he was powerful but it was only now that he confirmed it.
Julian grinned. 'I can't wait to climb to higher levels'.
The Debauchery System lit up again with more notifications.

Julian gained 52,505 EXP from hunting the 43 other Goblins in the Goblin Nest, and gained additional +60,000 EXP from hunting the Goblin Boss alone.
His total EXP gained from the hunt was far more than the mission reward of 45,000 EXP, but what truly attracted him was the +2000 DP reward.
With 2000+ DP now, he could finally complete the purchase that he shelved previously.
Julian was excited.
He didn't hesitate as he immediately accessed the System Shop despite being surrounded by the gory scenes of the nest which was a result of his actions.

Having purchased 2 of the earlier available goods already, these 3 were remaining in the System Shop.
The battle against the Goblin Boss emphasized the importance of a movement skill for him even more. If not for his overpowering advantage and pressure in the fight, the Goblin could have simply kited him around and toyed with him.
No matter how he looked at it, a skill to increase his movement speed was practical and needed.
The System instantly registered his choice.

[Congratulations! You have purchased the Skill Tome: Quick Step for 200 DP.]
[Do you want to bind skill now?]
…
[Current DP: 1802]
…
A tiny A7 sized brown tome materialized in front of Julian out of nowhere, floating in mid-air.
He held the tome and weighed it with a curious expression on his face.
Seeing nothing peculiar about it with his normal eyes, he activated Qi Sight and finally, he saw swirls of brown qi curled inside the book, forming a pattern like a snake biting its own tail.
Julian stared at it curiously, wondering how the skill tome was created but then he willed to bind with the skill tome.
Instantly, the A7-sized brown tome turned into brown qi that flowed into his body, mixing with his red qi in a unique reaction then the System lit up again with a new pop-up thread.
…
[You have bound a new skill: Quick Step]

After this, satisfied, Julian looked at the 2 other goods available in the System Shop as he contemplated but in the end, he refrained from spending his DP.
He decided to stock his DP for future goods.
Julian finally got ready to leave but that was when he noticed the transparent orb swirling with black qi that was beside the Goblin Boss' corpse.
Curious, he picked it up and the debauchery system lit up again.
~----~
[You have picked up an Artifact: Silencing Orb]

[Effect: Silencing Strike.]
>Silencing Strike: When activated, it prevents targets from casting spells and it nullifies skills ranging between Lvl. 5 to Lvl. 40 skills.
…
[NOTE: You can exchange this Artifact for a System reward of +480,000 EXP.]
~----~
Seeing the figure shown in the notification, Julian's eyes briefly lit up with greed but when he calculated that this EXP could only make him level up once, his enthusiasm waned.
'This Artifact will serve me better if I use it'.
He made his decision and kept the artifact.
And finally, a familiar rift was torn open by the system inside the Goblin Nest. But this time, the system projected a counter alongside the rift.
[Countdown: 03:58]
Julian blinked. 'There's a counter this time? I have about 4 hours to spend in this valley?'
His predatory eyes narrowed as he instantly realized what this was all about.
This was an opportunity.
And he realized something else. 'I can use this opportunity to hunt!'
