The Tomorrow advanced along the coastline.
The Vivre Card indicated that Jabba was on the other side of the island's shore.
"Is this the sea?"
Makino stood at the bow, spreading her arms, feeling the sea breeze.
It was her first time on a pirate ship.
It was a different feeling, seemingly quite good.
After her excitement, Makino didn't forget her duties. She looked at everyone, and when she saw Kevin, her eyes darted away slightly: "Are you hungry? I'll go make you something to eat."
Makino's addition.
Made meals no longer just a perfunctory chore, but an enjoyment.
...
...
Jabba's secluded residence.
"Mr. Jabba, Mr. Jabba?" Red-Haired Shanks excitedly jumped onto the island before his ship even docked.
He rushed impetuously into the small wooden house.
"Not here?"
Red-Haired Shanks pushed open the door; it was empty inside.
"Boss, Mr. Jabba isn't here. Isn't it impolite for us to just go in?" The crew looked at their captain speechlessly.
Red-Haired Shanks pulled back the foot he had stepped forward with.
A sly look appeared in his eyes: "Mr. Jabba isn't here, what a good opportunity! I remember Mr. Jabba's wine cellar is at..."
Red-Haired Shanks was like a fox.
He looked towards the cellar.
He tiptoed towards the cellar like a thief.
"Red Hair kid, what are you trying to do?" Just as Red-Haired Shanks reached out to open the cellar, a stick hit Red-Haired Shanks on the head.
Red-Haired Shanks silently withdrew his hand.
He wasn't embarrassed, and he chuckled at Jabba behind him: "I was helping Mr. Jabba check if the fine wine was still there."
"If I let you check, it'd be gone." Jabba grumbled at Red-Haired Shanks unhappily.
Red-Haired Shanks didn't get angry.
He fawningly leaned in front of Jabba: "Mr. Jabba, I've found a great new companion again. They want to try if they can use Ace."
Pushing Jabba along.
Red Hair secretly signaled his crew, urging them to hurry and steal the wine!
Yasopp and the others pretended not to see their boss's signal.
It was too embarrassing.
"Alright, if you want to drink, just take it out and drink. Just don't steal it all." Jabba glanced at Red-Haired Shanks.
His pupils slightly constricted.
"Shanks, your arm?"
Jabba looked at the one-armed Red-Haired Shanks in shock.
"Who could cut off your arm?"
Jabba's eyes narrowed, and a fierce aura burst forth from him: "Was it Whitebeard? Or Kaido?"
"It's fine. I bet my arm on the future."
Red Hair gripped his severed arm, not caring about his missing limb at all, but rather boasting: "Mr. Jabba, this time, we will definitely be able to take Ace."
"Have you forgotten how you cried like a baby when you couldn't use Ace?" Jabba mercilessly struck down Shanks' grand pronouncements.
"Hahaha."
"Boss cried before?"
"When was that, Mr. Jabba, could you tell us about it?"
The crew members scurried over, craning their necks.
They were very happy to hear about Captain Shanks' embarrassing moments.
"Go, go, go, get out of here, go get some sake. If you haven't tried Ace, go try it quickly." Red Hair's face flushed.
That was the most embarrassing moment of his life.
He thought he would be Captain Roger's successor, inheriting Captain Roger's will, and the Straw Hat was the symbol.
He confidently went to pick up Ace.
Then he couldn't use it.
The blow was too great, and young Red-Haired Shanks's mindset collapsed.
"Ace is right there. Whoever is interested, go try it if you want."
Jabba pointed to a stone nearby.
A great sword was stuck in it, just casually left there. Jabba hadn't bothered with it for many years.
"Lime Jomes, Dege, you two go."
Shanks told the two members who had recently joined the Pirate Crew to try the sword.
The rest of the crew.
Casually sat on stones, on the ground, drinking and chatting happily.
The banquet had begun.
Drinking sake, everyone watched Lime Jomes and Dege, who were walking towards the Supreme Grade Swords "Ace," with curiosity.
Lucky Roux: "Anyone want to bet on whether Lime Jomes can use it?"
"I'll bet you, ten barrels of fine wine. I bet they can't use it."
Lucky Roux's face darkened: "I'm not betting anymore."
Red-Haired Shanks looked at his bickering crew and feigned seriousness: "We must believe in our comrades, believe they can do it."
Yasopp immediately said: "Then Boss, you be the banker, and we'll bet with you."
"..."
Red-Haired Shanks's raised wine glass paused, and he pretended not to hear, turning his head to chat with Jabba.
"Shanks, they're quite good." Jabba observed Lime Jomes and Dege, with anticipation, perhaps it was truly possible for them to inherit Roger's treasured sword "Ace."
Red-Haired Shanks smugly tilted his head back.
Under everyone's gaze.
Lime Jomes arrived in front of the Supreme Grade Swords "Ace," taking deep breaths repeatedly to calm his inner excitement.
Supreme Grade Swords.
More importantly, it was Pirate King Roger's former treasured sword. For pirates, its significance was beyond imagination.
Few people could remain calm when facing this sword.
Lime Jomes reverently grasped the blade, instantly drawing "Ace" out, and everyone's eyes widened.
"Boom!"
Lime Jomes swung the blade, and a fierce flying slash cut a considerable gash in the sea.
Lime Jomes's expression instantly turned ashen.
"Ah." Shanks and the others sighed. He couldn't use it.
Not being able to use the Supreme Grade Swords "Ace" doesn't mean being unable to pick up "Ace"; even ordinary people can pick it up with brute force. Not being able to use it means: there's a clear sense of strain when using "Ace," and instead of boosting combat power, it actually weakens the intensity of one's own techniques.
