Chapter 96 - Time Did

The crackle of wood in the fire echoed through the night, salt lingering in the air as the wind blew past them. They munched on meat skewered on sticks. Lynsandra chewed quietly while staring into the flames, seated on a log after a full day of building yet another boat—only for water to leak in the moment they pushed it into the sea.

When she shifted her gaze to the man she had been with for the past month, Severin was eating in silence while studying the new blueprint he had created.

In the month she had been here, she noticed he was just as determined to help her. It was just that, even though they followed everything carefully, they were both inexperienced. Well, there was a reason shipwright companies existed.

At this point, I'm pretty certain the Royal Pack considers me dead.

A deep exhale escaped her as she looked up at the dark sky. Instinctively, she touched her nape, noticing the full moon above.

No wonder I feel slightly under the weather today.
