She could feel every single pair of eyes in the hallway focusing on her. And normally it would be looks of admiration, but not this time.
Low whispers had already started.
People couldn't believe the queen was actually going to apologize. Neither could they believe Shin had proved his innocence so easily.
Eva's hands trembled at her sides. She clenched them into fists so tight her nails dug into her palms. It didn't help. Nothing helped.
Shin stood there, watching her with those cold, knowing eyes. He didn't even need to speak. His silence was worse than any insult.
"I…" Her voice cracked on the first syllable.
She never felt so humiliated. But she cleared her throat. She knew she needed to sound genuine on her apology, or else people could resent her.
"I'm sorry for falsely accusing you. I... I was desperate and acted without thinking," she added a fake sob at the end to protect her reputation.
Eva had never felt so humiliated in her entire life. Around her, every single student was witnessing the moment
And she was still forced to turn to these people and admit to them she was wrong.
But how did things get like that?
Well, after the initial confusion, Shin convinced everyone to look for the real culprit.
And since he already knew everything thanks to the game, the investigation was a tedious process of helping the others find the clues.
He wasn't a good actor and feared that revealing he knew everything right away would only raise unnecessary suspicions.

He was wondering which was the fastest way to get rich. He didn't really try to get rich in his runs with 'Shin', but there were several strategies involving other characters.
Specifically, Marco was a character who started poor. So many routes to make him rich were found.
Many of those strategies weren't things Shin could copy, but some were.
He was already from a wealthy family, which would make things easier.
"But I doubt my mother will give me money..." he murmured to himself again.
He already knew a perfect method to get rich, which would also be useful for other things later. But first, he needed a good amount of initial capital to execute his plan.
Rummaging through his room, Shin found various action figures, especially of girls, that were likely worth good money.
To sell everything quickly, he went personally to Akihabara to find buyers.

It might take a bit longer, but he expected his capital to grow exponentially within just the first month.
And while preparing investment plans, a week passed literally in the blink of an eye.
Then, when Shin was leaving class, he was called by a teacher.
The school was worried about the relationship problems between Shin and Eva and decided to intervene.
The principal's brilliant idea was to make the two of them responsible for handling the paperwork for the cultural festival.
That way, they would have to work together every afternoon for a week and eventually resolve their differences.
Just to be safe, a teacher was supposed to supervise them, but on the very first day, after explaining the situation to them, the teacher received an urgent call and had to leave. With that, Shin was alone with Eva, whose affection for him was already at -90%.
All he needed to do to trigger the event he wanted was to look at her sexy and thick thighs while she crossed her legs.
