Chapter 11 - DEBT IN BLOOD

Chapter 11: Happily Ever After

That night, the mansion was quieter than usual. No threats, no rival lurking in the shadows — just the soft hum of the city beyond the gates.

Royalty found Feifei in the library, curled up with a book she hadn't opened all day. He leaned against the doorway, watching her with a grin.

"You're reading without me? That's dangerous," he teased.

"Dangerous?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "You're the one who leaves your arms empty and expects me to survive it."

He laughed, walking toward her and draping himself across the couch beside her. "I'm counting on it."

Feifei laughed too, then paused. "Royalty… I still can't believe you said it first."

"I had to," he admitted, voice quiet. "I couldn't let another second pass without knowing you knew. Without you knowing that none of this—none of your fear, my obsession, the danger—it matters more than you. I love you, Feifei. Always have."

She reached for his hand, holding it tightly. "I… I love you too."

He leaned closer, resting his forehead against hers. "Then let's make it official."

"Official?" she asked, teasing.

"Yes," he said, voice low and playful. "No more collateral, no more shadows, no more secrets. You can stay at your house if you want — but I plan on being in your life every day, officially, unapologetically. And I want to date you, properly."

Feifei laughed, heart racing. "You really think I'd say no to that?"

Royalty smirked. "I don't know. I'm usually used to people running from me."

"I'm not running," she said, grinning. "I'm staying."

He pulled her into a hug, long and full of warmth, laughter, and the quiet thrill of knowing that after everything, they had finally reached the end of the danger — and the beginning of something else. Something theirs.

"You're ridiculous," she whispered, breath warm against his neck.

"Not as ridiculous as you," he teased back, kissing her temple gently.

Then he pulled back slightly, smirking. "By the way… you can start staying at your parents' house too if you want. You're no longer collateral. No shadows. No debts. Your life is yours."

Feifei blinked, pretending to consider it. Then a mischievous smile spread across her face. "Oh… so I have two houses now?"

Royalty laughed, a deep, amused sound. "Apparently, you do. Don't get used to all this luxury, though — I might start charging rent for being in your life."

She elbowed him lightly, giggling. "I think I can handle it. Just keep paying attention to me, Royalty. That's the important part."

He leaned down, resting his forehead against hers again. "I plan on it. Every single day. No excuses."

Feifei felt a rush of warmth — safety, desire, joy, and love all wrapped into one. "Then I guess… we're officially unstoppable."

Royalty smirked, brushing a finger along her cheek. "Unstoppable… and completely yours."

For the first time in months, Feifei felt completely safe. Not because the world was free of danger, but because she was loved. Deeply. Fully. And she could love back without fear.

And that was everything.
