*Pluck*
Ymir sat on the edge of the bed and pulled another grape from the stem. The skin of it broke between his teeth as he savoured the sweet juice of grapes.
The chamber was large, and it hummed from the quiet sound of zither that always reverberated in the Castle Symphony.
Dark wood framed the walls, smooth black stone covered the floor, still holding a faint warmth from the heating runes beneath it. Low lights sat in recessed niches along the walls, casting a soft amber glow.
Heavy curtains of deep red fabric that matched the colour of his eyes hung beside the tall windows, pulled halfway across the darkness of glass in the night.
A wide panel of frosted glass divided the room. One the far side was the hot spring, it's surface sent thin trails of steam through the open archway.
Behind it, Violet stood in the water of hot springs.
