Chapter 43

Especially Fiona.

Due to her inadequate physique, she had been unable to awaken Armament Haki for a long time.

But with her physique constantly improving during this period, Fiona could feel the faint signs of Armament Haki beginning to awaken.

This drove her nearly mad with excitement.

Every day she pestered Vilin to temper her body.

Seeing Fiona appear before him completely naked,

Vilin wondered if he had been too hasty in agreeing.

As Vilin began helping her temper her body,

he saw her entire body trembling, yet her face showed pure enjoyment.

This gave Vilin a headache.

He never expected this usually aloof and cold girl to actually be a yandere.

Vilin decided to find some time to properly ask Jessica if this "condition" could be treated.

Great Route, Mock Town.

Vilin remembered from the manga that 800 years ago, Skypiea and Jaya were once the same island.

On that island remained a stone monument recording the true history of the "Void Century"—a Poneglyph.

Just like in Alabasta, it recorded the location of an Ancient Weapon capable of destroying a nation—Poseidon, the Sea King, located in Fish-Man Island.

There was also a "glorious city" called Shandora.

Rumors said Shandora was piled high with gold and silver treasures.

Vilin wasn't particularly interested in the history of Skypiea.

But he was very interested in the gold on Skypiea—and the Rumble-Rumble Fruit.

This time, Vilin planned to go to Skypiea alone.

As for his crew,

Vilin would find them a safe island to stay on temporarily.

He planned to wait until after Rouge gave birth before setting out again.

The Aitrias Pirates had no objections to Vilin's decision.

So Vilin led everyone toward Jaya Island—the closest point to Skypiea.

One month later, Vilin's ship finally reached Jaya Island.

However, to avoid exposing his whereabouts, Vilin did not land on the island.

Instead, he had Annie fly to the island to fully recharge the Log Pose, then set course for a remote, uninhabited island.

On a deserted barren island,

the women disembarked from the Flying Bird.

They began camping on the island.

At this point, only one month remained until Rouge's due date.

With the Aitrias Pirates now stationed on this hidden island,

they once again vanished completely from the sight of all major forces.

This left Garp—who had been chasing Vilin—extremely frustrated.

While Vilin disappeared from the seas,

the Roger Pirates had fully made their name in the first half of the Grand Line.

Seeing the Roger Pirates grow stronger day by day,

Garp seemed to have found a new target.

He began working alongside Sengoku to encircle and suppress Roger.

This brought enormous pressure to the Roger Pirates, who were rising rapidly in Paradise.

For a time, the Roger Pirates suffered heavy losses in battles against Garp and Sengoku.

After witnessing the strength of Garp and Sengoku,

the Roger Pirates no longer dared to engage the Navy head-on.

They could only flee from island to island.

However, seeing Roger remain optimistic as always gave the Roger Pirates' crew great confidence.

Mock Town, nearby unknown island.

Vilin looked at the newspaper in his hand with a gloating expression.

He never expected that because of his own actions,

Roger—who originally only had to face Garp's pursuit—

was now under the double assault of both Garp and Sengoku.

Fortunately, at this time Sengoku had not yet received the Devil Fruit sent by Fleet Admiral Kong:

Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan Model: Great Buddha Form.

This allowed the Roger Pirates to escape the Navy's encirclements narrowly each time, though they were left in a very sorry state.

After finishing the entire newspaper, Vilin closed it.

He headed straight toward Rouge's tent.

At the camp,

Rouge was chatting with Olvia.

Because both were Vilin's women, their relationship had grown very harmonious.

Every day they would chat and take walks together.

They were both very satisfied with their current lives.

While Rouge and Olvia were strolling around the camp,

a small sapling suddenly grew rapidly in front of them and quickly transformed into Vilin's appearance.

Seeing Vilin arrive, Rouge quickly walked to him.

She reached out and took his arm, looking at him with eyes full of gentleness.

Vilin seemed to sense Rouge's happy mood and joined the two women on their walk.

"Rouge, Olvia, I'm planning to go out for a few days to find something."

Rouge heard that Vilin would be leaving for a few days.

She asked somewhat sadly:

"How many days?"

"About seven or eight. Don't worry—I'll definitely be back before you give birth."

Seeing Rouge look disappointed,

Vilin gently stroked her pink long hair.

When Rouge learned Vilin was only leaving for a few days,

her face finally bloomed into a smile.

High in the sky,

a figure flew rapidly upward.

He soon reached the White Sea, 7,000 meters above ground level.

Looking at the cloud ocean that looked just like real water, Vilin's eyes filled with amazement.

This was his first time flying to such a height.

For someone with flight ability, reaching Angel Island wasn't actually difficult.

After flying another 3,000 meters upward, Vilin finally arrived at the White-White Sea.

Before him appeared a sea of clouds like the real ocean.

The dreamy scene gave Vilin a completely novel experience.

Vilin continued flying forward along the White-White Sea.

Soon, island clouds appeared in the air.

Houses of all kinds were built on the islands.

It looked exactly like a paradise from a fairy tale.

Before long, Vilin reached the Heaven's Gate.

Just as he was about to fly through,

Vilin looked surprised to see a middle-aged man with white wings on his back, holding a spear and riding a pegasus, appear in front of him and block his path.

"You're a Blue Sea person from below, right? What is your purpose here?"

The middle-aged man looked at Vilin, sensing the powerful aura around him, and asked politely.

"Hehe, I'm just here looking for an island in the sky called Vearth."

"I wonder if this uncle has heard of it?"

Seeing the wary look on the other's face,

Vilin also felt a bit amused and asked with a smile.

"Also, as far as I know, Skypiea does have trade with the Blue Sea, right?"

As he spoke, Vilin took out a bag of soil from his pocket and tossed it to the man.

The middle-aged man's eyes lit up when he saw the soil Vilin threw.

He immediately caught it and caressed it like a precious treasure.

"If you can help me find the location of Vearth,"

"I can give you another hundred pounds of this soil."

Hearing that Vilin could give him another hundred pounds of soil,

the man could no longer sit still. His eyes burned as he looked at Vilin.

"Please follow me, honored guest."

"You can stay at my house first. I'll help you check for information about Vearth Island."
