Chapter 100 - Learning Offensive Magic

Bringing Tatsuma to a place far from Kuoh Town, Le Fay set up an isolation barrier and began teaching.

Among many magic types, offensive magic is considered to be of intermediate to advanced difficulty to learn.

According to Le Fay's plan, she intended to teach some principles first to lay a good foundation for Tatsuma. Then, when they meet next week, she will formally teach the first offensive magic.

However...

"It's quite simple."

Looking at the burning black flames on the ground, Tatsuma moved his thoughts and collected them.

"This magic is called Purgatory Sea of Fire, right? It feels a bit lacking. Are there any more powerful offensive magic?"

"Uh... Yes."

Le Fay responded with a complicated mood.

She remembered that when she learned this magic, it took her a full three days. Even so, the senior magic user who guided her praised her as a once-in-a-century genius.

Three days is considered a once-in-a-century genius, so what is thirty minutes?

Le Fay sighed in her heart, finally understanding how ordinary magic users felt when they saw her.

However, despite the complicated feelings, the things that needed to be taught still had to be taught normally.

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, a morning had passed.

Under Le Fay's unreserved teaching, Tatsuma learned all thirteen offensive magic she had in her arsenal.

"Not bad."

Tatsuma nodded in satisfaction, then asked, "Le Fay, do you know Time Magic?"

Le Fay shook her head. "Sorry, I don't know that."

Time Magic is the highest-level forbidden magic, and the number of people in the world who know it is very small.

Le Fay is indeed a genius, but she is still too young. With her position in Golden Dawn, she couldn't even come into contact with Time Magic, let alone learn it.

She asked, "Tatsuma-san, do you have a great need for Time Magic?"

Tatsuma nodded. "Yes, I've been researching Time energy recently, and learning Time Magic can provide insights."

Le Fay said, "I understand, leave this matter to me."

"Is that okay?"

"No problem." Le Fay's tone was firm.

The past is the past, and the present is the present.

Things she couldn't get before aren't necessarily inaccessible now.

As a terrorist, the Khaos Brigade's only advantage is being free enough.

"Steal from other magic societies?"

After listening, Tatsuma thought for a moment, took out a postcard, and handed it over.

"Take this as insurance. If you encounter danger, summon me."

"Okay."

Le Fay accepted the postcard, took out her phone, and checked the time.

"Tatsuma-san, I still have six hours. Besides Time Magic, is there anything else you want to learn?"

Tatsuma glanced at the empty space not far away and suggested, "There are many, but let's stop here for today. It's rare to have a holiday, let's go out and have some fun together."

Time passed, and night fell.

In the southeast corner of the Vermillion Empire, a villa stood.

In the courtyard inside the villa, Arthur was practicing his swordsmanship as usual.

Just then, the villa's gate was pushed open.

Looking over, he saw his younger sister walk in from outside, looking happy.

Arthur said, pushing up his glasses, "It seems you had a good holiday."

Le Fay nodded. "I went to many places today and had a lot of fun."

Arthur said, "That's good."

Since joining the Khaos Brigade, the pressure accumulated on Le Fay was visibly increasing. For Arthur, it was a good thing that she could relax.

However...

If the person she relaxed and hung out with during the holiday was someone else, it would be even better.

"Oh, right, brother."

"I want to collect some Time Magic recently. Do you know which magic association has it?"

Arthur nodded. "I know some, but... leave this matter to me. My abilities are more convenient."

Le Fay asked, "Huh? Wouldn't that be bad?"

"What's wrong with helping my sister? Could it be that you don't need it yourself?"

"Cough! Of course I need it myself, but I think this matter will be very dangerous."

"Don't worry, it's not difficult for me."

Arthur pushed up his glasses, thinking about the invitation he had received yesterday.

If he teamed up with the White Dragon Emperor, could he find a way to counter the Red Dragon Emperor?

Hmm... Let's try.

At the same time.

After sending Le Fay off, Tatsuma returned home.

Unlike usual, the villa was decorated with a large number of balloons today.

In the lobby on the first floor, a banner that read [Celebrating Sona's Regained Freedom] hung above.

"Tatsuma, you're back."

By the table filled with food not far away, Sona raised her hand to greet him.

Tatsuma sat down next to her and asked, "Why did you come so early? I thought you would arrive later."

Sona shrugged, "I didn't have anything to do, so I thought I'd come early."

"I heard Rias say you went out early this morning and haven't been back since. What were you doing?"

"Learning offensive magic, and also preparing a gift for you."

Tatsuma raised his hand and snapped his fingers.

A faint demonic power fluctuation rose, and a carefully wrapped gift box appeared in his hand.

Tatsuma held the gift box and handed it to Sona, a smile on his face. "Congratulations on regaining your freedom, Sona."

"...Thank you."

Sona accepted the gift box with a complicated expression, not knowing what to say for a moment.

Seeing this, Akeno silently sighed and said in a deliberately resentful tone, "Sure enough, what you can't get is always in turmoil. I've been with Tatsuma for so long, and I haven't received a single exclusive gift."

Tatsuma said, "Come on, didn't I give you one last time?"

"Huh? Was there?"

"It seems I need to help you remember tonight."

"Wow! Really? Are you sure you'll have time for me tonight?"

The sounds of playful banter echoed in the hall.

Looking at the lively scene in front of her, Sona silently put away the gift box, a hint of envy flashing in her eyes. But she quickly adjusted her mood and joined Tatsuma and the others.
