[3rd POV]
While the Dunphy's were causing some serious issues with their ignorant intrusion into the life of Haley, and subsequently Billie (even if the latter was unknowingly), the rest of the world was freaking the fuck out.
Because Billie Eilish and HD had just revealed themselves to the world.
The single largest artist on the planet, Billie, had revealed her appearance for the first time on a live stage in front of thousands. Singing a number of her most famous songs, and singing her duet with HD, who the world soon came to realize was a lot younger than they thought.
Both of them were.
From estimations, they expected that they both couldn't be older than 19, and were likely teenagers. That in and of itself was a shock, but it was more so the fact that they sounded so good even in real life that was incredible.
The headlines were already going crazy, as the first Forbes article on Billie was published the second her appearance was revealed. The reactions that had caused was varying, as the article went into her background and her rough net worth based on the estimations regarding her albums and the fact that she had publicly known control over the Record Label that signed both her and HD.
People were already trying to find out who HD was, as while Billie's name was publicly known, HD's was not. And the hunt for finding out who she was was already in full swing, and it was only a matter of time before it was found.
And the reactions to their reveal was varying.

Billiesimp (Responding to HDFan12) - From what the rumors are saying, Billie might have directly mentored HD and even written a number of her songs for her. Makes sense with some of the stylistic choices in the music. But some of it is also way different, so who knows. Either way I really hope they do more stuff together.

Thankfully the positive was far far far outweighing the negative. But the only real difference was the fact that the homophobic people were far louder, and liked to hear themselves talk. Even if nobody gave a fuck what they were thinking.
Billie and Haley both lost fans that day, but they also gained a lot more. Because while she had not confirmed it or anything, anyone with eyes could see that Billie and HD were an item, and nobody was blind enough to not see it. Not even the morons who disliked them simply because they were two girls in love.
Neither of them really cared if they lost fans though, as in their eyes, it meant nothing.
Right now the news channels in the US as well as several countries in Europe, were flooded with the headlines regarding Billie Eilish and HD's first public concert, and their face reveals.
And on one of them, was an "Expert" on musicians and a man that used to be the head of a rather large record label once upon a time. Brought in by the news company at a moments notice once the headlines broke.
"So, Jonathan. What do you think this reveal will mean for the career's of both Billie and HD?" The newswoman asked, as she sat across from the expert. The man sighed and leaned back.
"Well, it matters on how they handle this going forwards. If they make this the new norm, regularly showing off their faces, making appearances at award shows, and playing it like any other artist does, then they should be fine. But if they go back to before, to not showing their faces and acting all mysterious, they'll start to get a lot of backlash. Because once you show yourself, you can't take that back. I just hope that they understand that now that they've revealed themselves to the world, they will not be able to stay out of the public's limelight, no matter what they do" The man responded.
"And what about the other rumors regarding the two?"
"You mean the ones about them being in a relationship with each other? That's not really a problem. We're in the 21st century, and it's about time we stop judging people for that sort of thing. And that relationship will actually be a good thing for their image, people love to eat up celebrity relationships, especially real and wholesome ones. It's just up to them to show whether or not this will be like that or not" The man answered, as the woman nodded slowly.
She was secretly a giant fan of Billie, so she was happy to hear that this wouldn't cause issues for her or anything.
"Even with the rampant homophobic views?" The woman asked, as Jonathan nodded.
"Even with that. And with the president and other parties trying to get gay marriage legalized in all fifty states, it's only a matter of time before their relationship becomes...well, normal. And once that happens, they won't even need to worry about that sort of thing. Heck, even now, people are getting used to the fact that others might love the same gender. And frankly, they should be getting used to it, we're not savages anymore people" Jonathan said to the camera, as the woman nodded, agreeing with his words.
Some of the reactions that had come from this reveal were frankly disgusting.
"And what do you think the other artists in the space will think?"
"Most of them will probably begin to see her as more of a threat to their growth. Because Billie Eilish, no matter what you think about her, is the future of Pop and music in general. And I can say with certainty, that she will surpass even the likes of the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson" The man said with a serious expression, so certain.
The womans eyes widened at the words, before seeing that one of the men behind the camera motioning for her to end this, as she nodded and began to speak to the camera.
"Well folks, you hear him. It looks like Billie Eilish might just surpass the King of Pop himself. Which makes you wonder..."
"Just what is she doing right now?"

As said before, this fic will now begin to slow down, as I begin to develop Billie's romance with Haley, and her connection to the Dunphy family. She'll also be meeting characters from other shows sooner or later, and will be developing her art even more too.
There are a number of shows that will be a part of this greater universe. None of them are supernatural in nature, so nothing like that. Instead, most of them will be sitcoms and stuff like that. I am going to limit it to around 5-7 shows that take part in the universe that she ACTIVELY goes to. Some shows will be in the background or only referenced loosely, and nothing more than that. I can guarantee now that the shows: How I met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Shameless, Victorious, Superstore, Two and a Half Men, The Office, Girl Meets World, Icarly, and Good Luck Charlie are a part of this universe.
There will be several mentions of them, and they will of course be appearing several times throughout the fanfic. With there being different arcs in different areas. As Billie will not solely stay in Modern Family, especially with Haley being different than she is in canon. So I can tell you all that now if you were worried it would get stale or something.
Besides that, there is not much else to say!
