This book has been inspired by Cebu City in the Philippines because of its dynamism, culture, and places that interest any individual. With due respect, I have done my best to maintain its authenticity; still, some facts may not be quite accurate. I have no motive but to share an authentic romance in the city, and not some documentary you would want to watch at midnight.
Maya and Julian's story follows their experiences in the city in light of love, ambition, and their cultural backgrounds. If there is anything that can be improved, please do not hesitate to share your comments, but make sure they are given with kindness and clarity.
If urban romance doesn't interest you, feel free to pass and/or remove from your library. But if you decide to stay, I hope that in it you will be able to recognize something of your own, in whatever way that may be.
